Which TS should I give up?

We are staying 7 nights at POR- free dining. DH, DS9, DS6, and myself. Mid-afternoon arrival at MCO, estimating arrival at resort between 4-5pm. Here are my TS ADRs for the week. If we don't want to pay OOP for one, I'm going to have to give one up- which one should I give up?
Saturday (arrival dinner) - Boatwrights (I'm thinking that we'll want to stay at the resort after a long travel day.)
Sunday - Chef Mickey's bfast
Monday - Les Chefs de France dinner
Tuesday - Whispering Canyon dinner
Wednesday - 50's Prime Time dinner
Thursday - San Angel Inn lunch
Thursday - Tokyo Dining dinner
Friday - Crystal Palace lunch

TIA for any input!

Honestly you are going to get a wide variety of opinions on this board... some people love a restaurant while other's claim it's the worst restaurant ever. (ie: I think 50s PT food sounds gross, sounds like a frozen dinner menu, and would never eat there, but other's love it there)

So you should look at your restaurants and decide which one won't be a deal breaker for your family. If you been to some before, you can maybe eliminate one of those.

I'd probably switch one of the Thursday Epcot meals to counter service in that country instead of TS.

You get a full day of food the day your arrive correct? So why don't you just use your counter service for dinner instead of Boatrights?

I would cancel Boatwrights. It just doesn't seem "special" to me like all the other restaurants you chose. I would cancel it in favor of a counter service. Maybe you could even take the boat ride from POR to DTD and eat at wolfgang puck's? It's really wonderful! Or, you could even have a counter service at POR. Since you would not need an ADR, you could play it by ear. :thumbsup2

Have a great vacation! :goodvibes

Im with belle. cancel boatwrights. most of the food courts offer good choices. and after traveling, hitting the pool ect a closeby meal will probably fit the bill!

I would give up the arrival dinner. Take is easy and eat at the food court.

I'd cancel Boatrights and have a CS dinner that night - then you wont have to eat at any specific time. You could even take the boat to Downtown Disney and have a CS at Wolfgang Puck Express, Earl of Sandwich or Cookes of Dublin. :thumbsup2

I'm going with the group. You don't want to have to rush to ADRs on arrival day. Especially if flights are delayed, traffic from the airport, long line at check in, etc.

Sorry, but I'm going to disagree with the majority. Personally after a long day of travel I want to waited on and relax a little. We ate at Boatwrights in May and really enjoyed it. Really depends on you and your family. The kids might prefer to hop in the pool and just have a quick meal. If I were going to cancel one it would be one of the TS in Epcot on Thursday. Have mexican CS. We would not eat at CP again and Les Chefs was just OK. Mainly ate there for Remy.

I would cancel Boatrights...if everyone's exhausted then go to POR counter service (some good options there) If you're not all worn out, take the boat to Downtown Disney and eat at Wolfgang Puck Express. It's not even that far to walk from the DTD boat to WPE, and you get a little "taste" of Disney wandering through DTD Marketplace (go get a picture by the Winnie the Pooh store --the near life-size statues make for great photo ops...with a much shorter wait than actual character meet & greets, lol.

Thanks everyone! I have considered taking the boat to DTD, but also think a convenient TS meal might be nice that first evening as well if we are all worn-out.
A follow-up question... If I want to just see how our travel day goes, is it rude to make a decision when we land at MCO on boatwrights and call wdw-dine to cancel the ADR then (3-4 hours ahead of time)? Not sure on ADR etiquette. Thanks.

Obviously, the earlier you cancel the better. It frees up that spot for another customer:thumbsup2 But as long as you do it as quickly as you decide, I don't see any problem.

I agree with a pp. Change Thursday's ADR at Mexico (unless you just LOVE it) and do Mexico's counter service. Or try several different CS meals if you are feeling adventurous!

I agree with both opinions. Get on a boat and hit Puck Express for a CS instead of Boatwrights, or hit a CS in Epcot the other day, there are good CS locations in Epcot.
