Which TS or CS place in each park won't you eat at again and why?

One does not go for the food. One goes for the experience of being "Mothered". You have to get into it. Play along. Put your elbows on the table and maybe curse a little in Mother Waitress's presence and see what happens. That is why one eats at the Prime Time.

Anyone try the Maya Grill??? We are going down next month and thought we would give it a try. Is the food good????

There is only one restaurant in the parks that we will never return to, under any circumstance, and that is Marakesh. Worst food, service and entertainment I have ever had at WDW.
And just a few years ago, our experience at this restaurant, was the highlight of our trip.
How things have changed!!!

MGM - ABC Commisary: Horrible food, won't go back.
Epcot - Le Cellier: Dh and I felt it was over rated, and the food we had was horrible.
Poly - Ohana: They took away the wontons, grilled shrimp and pineapple, nuff said

We ate there in August, the food was awesome. HUGH portions, wonderful service. If you are on the DDP, don't forget to tip more. Disney doesn't pay them the full amount of the meal, so they only get tipped on that portion, not the full meal price!!!

The only bad meal we ever had in Disney came from ABC Commisary in MGM.
Otherwise, I am always impressed with the quality of Disney food!

My DH and I did a Character Breakfast at AK on our Honeymoon in 2003 and it was really bad. It was divided into 2 rooms that were really crowded (too many people and tables) and you had to wait in long lines at the buffet. We were waiting so long for food at one time, our server thought we had left! She thought we didn't pay our bill! She wasn't too nasty about it, it is Disney. When she saw us, she said oh, there you are and handed us the bill. Compared to Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare, the food was also pretty poor. We will not go back there.

Alfredo's - rude CMs.. way too crowded and noisy .. bad food

Ohana - been 3 times .. food keeps going down hill .. it's off our list

I thought we were the only ones who didn't like Ohanas. have tried it 2x, very disappointing both times. One visit we were all running for the bathroom as it went right through us. No way we will be back again!

Am giving Alfredos another try this trip as DH really wants to experience it. (I went 10 yrs ago before we were married) Anyway, my impression then was the tables were too close together, the servers were rude and inattentive, but the food was very good. I don't know why they insist on cramming in so many tables, it makes it very difficult on the wait staff to get around too. I mean other places may not be real private...but at Alfredos, I feel like I could say, "please pass the salt" to the next table and it would be w/in easy arms reach, you really are right on top of one another.

Sci-Fi Dine-In.........absolutely horrible. the atmosphere is great, but my goodness, hubby and I both took about 3 bites of our burgers and couldn't eat any more. The absolute worst meal I've ever had on Disney property.

I forgot about this one! We ate there in Dec '05 and it was horrible. Food was so dried out and tasteless. Worse meal we ever had. On the othe hand, the belly dancer was very nice and captivated our dd3. So at least it made for a pleasant experience that way.

MK - Noodleland Terrace...mushy food, tasteless...bland..we threw it right out

EPCOT - The outdoor dining in Mexico....just plain BAD

Contemporary - Concouse Steakhouse for breakfast....unripe hard tasteless fruit, burnt bacon, over cooked eggs, horrible

MGM - ABC Commissary. The worst burger I have ever had. I know Disney isn't known for great burgers, but this was worse than any I've had at any of the other CS places. No taste, soggy bun. Blecchh!! DH had the Cuban sandwich and it was terrible. Even DS's chicken nuggets were bad.

I haven't really had any other bad experiences. I would go back to just about every other place I've eaten.

If by authentic Chinese cooking you mean most anything you can order at almost any Chinse restaurant in America then that might not necessarily be a bad thing. Alas, I fear that Nine Dragons might just be a bad iteration of Americanized Chinese food, which bears little resemblence to anything they actually eat in China. Go to China and ask someone for General Tso's Chicken and they'll look at you like you have two heads.

I agree. China's food was just not good and overpriced for basically the same stuff your local Chinese does.
The other thing I think is that the Mexico resturant is getting a bad rap because it has NOT Americanized it's menu. I find the food good, but it's not Tex Mex and that's what most of us think of as American food. I haven't tried Alfredo's mainly because the menu doesn't remind me at all of the great food I got in Italy! (Boy do Italians know how to eat!)

MK LTT - you mean there is suppose to be service there? (Missed that, seems like folks just threw food and left)

MGM ABC Commisary.... Just not good.

MK Noodle Station (or whatever it was called) in Tommorrowland. (Maybe Disney should just give up Chinese, this was pretty gross!)

Pepper Market - What a joke. They want to charge me a service fee? I didn't get any service and I had to sit surrounded by trashed tables of food that had been there a while! YUCK! (I know it's not in a park, but...)

Epcot - Electric Umbrella. Just not a good atmosphere and as someone pointed out there are much better places

I also REFUSE to buy those McDonald's French Frys. There is no way I am paying $2.50 for McDonalds' fries!!!! LOL!

Akershus - I know it wasn't their fault, but a big fly swimming in my white sauce put me right off that place.

San Angel - BLAH, mediocre food

Liberty Tree Tavern - Another personal quirk; I can't have anything unexpected in my food, and my fish filet there was so full of bones I couldn't eat it.

Pizzafari - Why go there, when Tusker House is also available?

Donald's Breakfastosaurus - Cold buffet food, yum

Magic Kingdom: Tony's -- Food was just so-so.
MGM: Sci-Fi Theater -- Again, just so-so food.
Resorts: Chef Mickey's for dinner -- Never again. Worst food and service I have ever had on Disney property!

ESPN Club - every couple years I try it and every couple years it is just as bad as I remember. Never again!

We also had our horrible experience at Marakesh last Dec '05. Maybe the Chef was on vacation, too bad our waiter didn't take a vacation at the same time . We were at the restaurant a good hour and a half and unfortunately we saw the belly dancer for a total of about 5 minutes.

Don't fall over or hate me, but Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast was nasty. Yes, being inside the castle was neat. Yet, for the effort to get the reservation, the high dollar price, and the generally yucky food we won't return. I'd classify it as a nice must do once, but never again.
