I have seen this information before, but I am unable to get the search function working for some reason....

Can anyone tell me what is the best way to travel by train from Brussels to DLP?

Thanks!!

The TGV from Bruxelles Midi/Brussel Zuid to Marne la Vallée-Chessy

(the station near the entrance of Disneyland Paris, +/- 3 minute walk to the two parks, across from the busses to the hotels) is the fastest connection (less than two hours). You have to make reservations for this train. There are several services each day. When you prefer an early start it is possible to get in Disneyland Paris before opening (10:00 opening day). I think that Sandra has made one or more trips by Thalys or TGV. Thalys no longer operates the route Amsterdam-Brussels-Disneyland Paris.

You can use the following site to plan and book your trip.

I made most trips by Thalys, didn't know they weren't going to DLP anymore! :(

I used TGV once, service is the same, it just takes a little longer because it goes over Lille.

If it weren't for the company car, I would still go by train (and know that Thalys didn't go to Mickey anymore!)

Sandra,
the TGV has taken over the trainservices between Brussels and Marne La Vallee from Thalys. I think that this change was within the last year. The TGV from Brussels should go direct to DLRP without a stop in Lille. At least the site of the Belgian Railways lists the TGV as a non-stop connection.

You still can take the Thalys from Brussels to Paris Nord and change to the RER A to DLRP.

THANK YOU!

I am driving with the children on Saturday, but DH will join us on Sunday and he will be taking the train in.

Hi, I will be living in Amberg Germany, and am trying to find different rates and times to get to DLP.

For traintravel between Amberg and Marne La Vallee you can use the following site to plan and book your trip. The trip will be +/- 10-11 hours and you have to change trains between 3 to 5 times.

The easiest way to get to Disneyland Paris is to travel to Nuremberg Airport
(approximately 65 kilometers)
http://www.airport-nuernberg.de/english/passengers/flugplan-europa/
by car or train and take an Air Berlin or Air France/Lufthansa flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle. And take the TGV to DLRP or use the VEA shuttle or taxi.

An Air Berlin roundtrip for example for 9 July - 12 July is 100 euro incl. tax. pp.

Hey thanks for all the info. I was looking at the euro star and I saw that it went from Nuremberg to Marne La Vallee for 200 euros in 3-4 hours. Would that be the best way to go?

Where did you see the Eurostar train from Neuremberg to Marne La Vallee. I just looked at the official site and I can't find this train.

On http://www.raileurope.com I saw a train service from Neuremberg - Stuttgart - Paris. You have to change trains in Stuttgart and it takes +/- 6 hours.
Taking this option 9 July 09:41 - 16:34 and 13 July 11:24 - 18:17 will cost you $380 pp (285 euro). Plus transportation to DLRP

So I still think that your best bet is to fly.

The train from Amberg to the Central Station in Nuremberg takes about 50 -60 minutes. This is an hourly service. I can't find the price for this ticket online. And then you have to travel to the airport. You can use the U2 subway line to reach the airport in 12 minutes from the central station. Or you could drive to the airport (less than an hour) from Amberg.

The Air Berlin flight leaves Nuremberg Airport at 18:35 and arrives at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 19:55. Both are in the same timezone, so a flight of +/- 80 minutes. This is a direct non-stop flight.
Returnflight 20:40 - 22:05
You could book a flight incl. tax for less than 100 euro pp. The price will increase as more and more seats are sold.

Lufthansa has one daily direct non-stop flight.
Leaves Nuremberg Airport at 14:00 and arrives at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 15:25 (operated by Eurowings). For the other flights you have to change planes in Frankfurt or Munich.
Return flight 15:55 - 17:15.
You could also book this flight for 100 euro pp incl tax.
The tickets for the Air Berlin flight and this flight are both restricted (eg non-refundable).

Dates used 9 August - 14 August

Travel from Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland Paris:
VEA Shuttle with stops at the hotels 16 euro/adult 13 euro/child
If you decide to take the Air Berlin flight the VEA shuttle won't be an option. Last shuttle at 20:00 (Friday and Sunday later).
The trip is +/- 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

TGV to Marne La Vallee
+/- 10 minutes from the airport 23 euro (earlier trains 36 euro). Last train 22:00
www.raileurope.com

RER B transfer to RER A

I think that it should be possible to fly plus transportation costs to your destinations at either end of the journey for less than 200 euro pp.
Travelling time depends on the method of transportation chosen and the connection times between the different parts of the trip.
