My DF and I have been discussing buying into DVC. We are both in our 20s, will be married next year, and since DF is nearly 30 he would like children in the next 2 years (God willing if I'm able) We both really like relaxed atmospheres, not a ton of noise, love water, and would like to chose a resort that would work well for us and children. Which resort would you recommend for us to buy into considering all that? Thanks!

I would vote for OKW because you asked for "relaxed atmosphere". The first time we stayed there I felt the tension literally draining from me. DH and I had to buy after we stayed there the first time and it is our first choice if we wanta "no parK" or "just us adults" trip. Large rooms, soft colors, beautiful landscaping and just far enough from the parks to be quiet and relaxed. The large terraces/balconies are great, too!

Remember that these potential children will not be small forever, so don't only envision trips with toddlers, envision them with teenagers, too.

VWL is also fairly quiet and relaxed - close to MK, on the lake, some people think the decor is dark (I like it - its sort of the antithesis of OKW though).

(Remember you can't swim in any of the WDW lakes).

If, by love water, you mean you like to swim, BCV has SAB - most people consider that to be the best pool on property. And its beach themed.

All three of those resorts have a marina.

OKW is very relaxing, but I also think SSR is more relaxing than BWV or BCV. VWL is also another good choice.

I'd suggest getting the "Biggest Bang for YOUR Bucks"!! :thumbsup2

Right now...its SSR and remember the extra 12 yrs. of ownership, bequeathable to your kids, and the cheapest maintenance fees (which come due every Jan..yea right after the holidays.) ;)
For sure you will be making ressies at ALL the other resorts too!! :cool1:
