iPad, love it.
I have 2 blackberry playbooks love them... Also have a couple asus android tablets and the younger kids have some cheap RCA android tablets. Had an iPad but HATED that thing.
Wow! All of your opinions & suggestions are really helping!
My wife & I both have Samsung Galaxy s3 phones. With regards to sharing pictures, music, messages, etc with the new tablet... do you think it would be any easier if we bought one with the Android system?
Another PlayBook owner (and user) here! Although it is now outdated, it does what I need. Web (FB, Twitter, Browsing), Office, e-mail, music, movies, games & reader. Got an iPad Air for Christmas and still use the BlackBerry more! However, I wouldn't recommend the BB (even if you could still find one) because it is over 3 years old.
It really boils down to what you will use it for and if you are tied into any ecosystem (Android, Apple, MS, BB) with your phone. Good Luck with your decision.
I also have an android phone and for that reason I chose Samsung Note 10.1.
My problem with Apple is that you can't add any memory to them. I can expand my Note from 16 to 48 GB for less than $20 (the price of a 32 GB sd card, I find them at great prices!). Plus we can add other peripherals to it. And I don't have to deal with iTunes. Never have, never will.
I'm a Samsung fan so I'd vote for the Note. It's my next step, I have the Samsung Galaxy phone and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Love them both~![]()

We each have an iPad2 16GB here (so four), all bought refurbished from Apple without any problems whatsoever.
Three of us use ours withh Logitech Bluetooth fabricskin wireless keyboards which are very thin and light and fold back into a regular cover, also. My teens use theirs exclusively for high school. I never use my laptop anymore - it's broken anyway.
None of us have run out of space, either.

For those of you that no longer use a laptop of PC in favor of a tablet, are you doing personal banking and everything on the tablet?
Is that where you store all of your digital photographs and personal business?
I am looking to replace my PC and considering getting a laptop or possibly a desktop PC and a tablet. I like the idea of having a portable device to goof off on the internet with but I cannot see giving up a full keyboard and big monitor when I am working from home or doing a big project for personal use.
