Hi All,
Me and my husband will be at Disney Springs for the first time in December and would like to book a dinner. I think our first choice was going to be House of Blues but there are no reservations open there for that night for some reason? Where else would you go? We have great seafood where we are so I would probably rule out the Boathouse...Also, since this is in December, are there holiday things going on there that we do not want to miss? Thank you

We really like Raglan Rd. Morimoto Asia is getting good reviews. Just avoid Planet Yuckywood

Raglan if you like Irish food and dancing is a good choice. The Guinness is wonderful along with many other good beer choices.

We think that Mori Mototo's place is beautiful and good food too. Saki is not our drink of choice but those who know say that the beverage choices are superb.

Raglan Road would be my choice. Great food and similar fun atmosphere with music like HoB. You can also make a reservation via OpenTable so if you change your mind you can cancel without being charged like if you booked through Disney.

Bunk beds is a bookable category at WL and AKL and have been for several years

I agree, and wondered if you checked OpenTable for HOB availability?

Just another voice for using opentable. I carefully selected Raglan Road for a dinner last fall because of the Irish entertainment factor. I LOVED it! The food was good. We're going there again in November.

If the House of Blues was going to be your choice, then there are two new places:

1.) Art Smith's Homecoming.
2.) Polite Pig.
We've not tried either.

We did, however, eat at Rick Bayless' Frontera Grill of modern Mexican. Very good.

But Boathouse is the new 'it' spot.

Looks like a previous quote was caught in this thread re: WL bunk beds. Sorry about that!

The steaks at the Boathouse are excellent so it's not just a seafood restaurant. I personally wouldn't rule it out just based off the seafood alone.

We just came back from Disney and tried Art Smith's Homecoming Kitchen. It was wonderful and the service was excellent!

Polite Pig doesn't open until next spring.

Raglan Road is my favorite DS restaurant. I would like to try Homecoming at some point, but we usually only hit DS once per trip and I can't pass up Raglan Road.

There are so many good choices at Disney Springs these days! My favorite is still Raglan Road (great food and wonderful entertainment). Morimoto Asia and Frontera Cocina are a close second and third. Morimoto is the only one that has a lot of seafood on the menu (e.g., sashimi). If you're looking for something like House of Blues (in terms of food), I'd probably go with Frontera Cocina.
