I use Splenda in my coffee, but want to "branch out" and do some cooking and baking with an artificial sweetener but which one is best for that? I had heard that one of them loses its sweetness when used for baking so I want to avoid that, but don't remember which one they said.

Use Splenda to bake also.
Equal is supposed to do bad things when heated..shouldn't even use it in hot drinks.

AT LEAST THAT'S THE URBAN LEGAND.:hyper:

Yes, use splenda...because it is made from sugar, it also measures like sugar.

Can't wait to try it!

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll just go ahead and stick with my Splenda. :teeth:

Definitely Splenda! NutraSweet breaks down and the chemical reaction isn't good for you. Sweet & low was never good for baking.
