I looked for this answer all on their page and could not find the answer. Does anyone know which strollers you can gate check with Southwest?

We are thinking about buying a stroller since the company we used to rent from changed things up on us and we also need one for at home with a few things we plan to do this summer and next. Thank you in advance!

Agreed. I dont think there is any restriction on what kind of stroller you can check. We usually check an umbrella type stroller but I've seen bigger heavier types checked at the door as well.

We flew southwest and gate checked our stroller. It's the heavy jeep all terrain stroller. So they definitely let you gate check the big heavy ones!

Southwest lets you gate check pretty much anything you can fold
But other airlines do not (AA makes you check the big strollers with your luggage for example). So if you want the stroller for other trips you should keep that in mind.

If you are considering buying one, my rec will be a good umbrella stroller that can fully recline and can hold 55 lbs. We have a britax b nimble we bought for traveling that has worked out great, we took it to WDW last year and it's easy to fold and unfold for the buses and works great for naps. You can buy them on Albee baby for 1/2 the price. http://www.albeebaby.com/britax-2010-b-nimble-stroller-in-red.html
