Which stroller to take?

We are headed down in a week and we are wondering which stroller to take. We had originally planned to leave around lunch time each day for nap/lunch but now I've been told that is a bad idea as we may not be able to get back in the park due to capacity closings. SO...we are now toying with the idea of taking the stroller that came with our travel system. It is nicer for DD to nap in (if we can get her to), it has more storage on the bottom, a tray or her for snacks, as well as cupholders. Our other stroller, a Combi, is more of an umbrella type- little storage (but some) underneath. Should we take the larger, knowing it will be more difficult around the parks so our DD has a more comfortable place to snack, sleep? Or should we go for the smaller one in this case? She is 18 months, if that helps at all.

Thank you all for reading this far, this is our first time with a little one!

I would go with the smaller stroller because of it being easier to maneuver and if you are using the busses it'll be easier to get on and off the buses. For storage just use a backpack, if you can't fit something into the backpack re-evaluate if you really need it or not. We always just used an umbrella type stroller with a small mesh bag on the back (for bottled water and napkins) and carried a backpack. You can also find a snack tray that will fit on your umbrella stroller like this Stroller Mate Snack Tray. There are some umbrella strollers that while they don't recline fully they do recline enough to let a very sleepy child catch a cat nap.

The Combi reclines some right? If so, I would take that one. Does your daugther tolerate both strollers equally?

Take the stroller your child is more comfortable in. I own a citi mim and city elite from baby jogger ds prefers the city elite. He is almost too big for the mini at 3.

Thank you all! We really haven't used the "bigger" one often at all- maybe 3 times total. The Combi just fits better in my car, so we have stuck with that. I will look into a snack tray. It does recline enough that she may nap in it...just trying to figure out if she actually will- she is a busy body! :-)
Thank you all for your opinions!

The comfort of your child is the most important thing. A few minutes of getting a stroller on and off the buses is nothing compared to a few hours with a grumpy, tired, uncomfortable child. A comfy child is a happy child which makes for happy families! Take the big comfy stroller.

Go in for a comfortable size of baby stroller. Since she is 18 months old, it is best to go for a bigger size than the very small ones. Agreed they are easier to use, but they will prove to be uncomfortable and your baby will outgrow it quickly. There are ample baby strollers available at aBaby.com, in good sizes and with accessories like a detachable hood and other adjustable features.

I'd bring the bigger stroller. We just got back last week & the weather was crazy. Some rain, some cold weather, and some nice afternoons. Having a place to store all your stuff is well worth it as we found we needed to bring hats, gloves, winter coats, rain ponchos, sweatshirts, etc but we would strip off layers as the day went on. The buses with a slightly bigger stroller are really not a big deal. I've done it with double strollers and sit n stands as well as umbrella strollers and I don't think it makes a difference, especially if you have 2 adults and only one child. I did it last week by myself with 3 kids and a fairly big stroller and had no problems at all.
