Which stroller to bring

Hi All.

Question for you. My son is 3 and we will need to bring a stroller to the parks with us... ultimatly this will mean on the airplane as well.

We prefer to use our Jeep jogger style stroller for long outings as it has more storage and rides well. Do you think a larger stroller like this will cause problems?

I also have a peg perego pliko 3 that folds umbrella style which is nice but there is no storage or parent tray.

TIA for your input! 9 more days until we leave :cool1:

We are leaving tomorrow morning with our 16 month old. We have been all over the place this past year, and take the Jeep jogger everywhere. We will be taking it again this time.

Take your jog stroller. You'll be glad for it once you're there!:thumbsup2

We found that it does help to have a bag for your stroller when you gate check it. You can pop the wheels off to make it fold up smaller that way, and it keeps your stroller clean.

Driving or flying? We had both of your strollers (and loved them both!) But I don't think I'd ever shlep the Jeep on a plane and on the Disney busses. We took our P3 several times on air travel trips (both WDW and family). We did add the CarryYou Demi Milan to the P3 for the cupholder aspect. I really loved the Jeep cupholders and "glove box", so I know what you mean. Oh and we also used a Skip Hop diaper bag on the P3, that helped a lot with storage and organization.

we're flying but staying off site so disney buses aren't really a factor and we'll have a minivan so the space won't be an issue. We've always taken the P3 with us for air travel but we've never done disney parks with him before.. we figured the jeep really is much better for all of us at theme parks and such. For the disney cruise and other trips the p3 was fine but we weren't pushing it all day... just using it here and there.

I don't have a diaper bag anymore he's been potty trained for over a year (he'll be 4 in feb) so we'll have a back pack.. I was just thinking that the huge basket and parent tray on the jeep would be much more convienent.

Since you'll have a mini van and the space, then for sure I'd take the Jeep if it were me. That enormous basket is awesome. Have fun!

Honestly for an almost 4 year old I'd say you'd be fine with the P3. We just got back from a trip with my almost 3yr old. I brought the P3 and it was great. I was surprised this year that he wasn't in it as much as I thought he'd be. He was very much more independant than last year. He walked from the room to the buses/boat most days and once we parked the stroller in the parks it stayed there for awhile.
