Which Steakhouse is the best in WDW? Forgive me if I missed any great steakhouses, these are the ones I was wondering about...

I chose Yachtsman, but could have easily picked Shula's. Both are great.

Le Cellier is vastly overrated, in my opinion, but if there are people who like it, more power to them.

I agree with Madalex...I too chose Yachtsman. We have eaten at all 4 you questioned and although I love Shula's too, we have one not far from us in the Metro Detroit area so I would prefer to eat somewhere different while we are in the world! If you are a true steak lover you will be very pleased with the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Enjoy!

We have only been to Yachtsman and Le Cellier..neither are worth the money.

Definitely the Yachtsman! When you consider the quality of the beef, cooked to perfection, the service and the atmosphere, it wins, hands down! It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it!

Wow, look how close Le Cellier and Yachtsman are! I guess I can't go wrong with either of them. Has anyone (with kids) eaten at both have a preference?

...I voted for Shula's...but Yachtsman is more bang for the buck...IMHO...if thats possible!

WOW, lots of LC haters in the house! :confused3

I chose LC because...

1. It's the only one of the four at which I've eaten. Although I did have a mighty good filet at CG & FF once.

and

2. Because LC was all hyped up here on the boards, I went in with great expectations. It was so good, I left hyping it up myself. :cheer2: The cheddar cheese soup with bread is reason enough to go IMHO.

I don't think you could go wrong at any, though.

Just ate there this weekend and the food was awesome as always. But to be fair I have never eaten at the Yachtsman.

We've eaten at both and I felt Le Cellier was a little more appropriate for kids. The atmosphere at Yachtsman just seemed more adult. I don't know why I felt that...Le Cellier just didn't feel as "formal". (And I don't mean attire, just a atmosphere). There were kids at Yachtsman, but it's also more expensive.

We have eaten at all of them several times, as I am a bono fide carnivore.

We love Le Cellier--probably more from its ambiance than the food. Yes, the food is probably overrated, but the experience is always pleasant, and we always leave happy.

Schula's is a great steakhouse and wins hands down from a steak purists point of view.

We have had several less than satisfactory experiences at the Yachtsman, and will never go there again.

Ate at LeCellier and Yachtsman last May. LeCellier was nice, but my prime rib was not that great. DH and DD did not like the sauce on their filets. The cheese soup and pretzel bread was great, though!

We've eaten at Yachtsman 4 times now, and every meal has been spectacular, as has the service. We'll definitely be visiting again this May.

We've eaten at the Concourse two times, and we will not be going back. The first time our service was horrible and the food was not that great. I used to be a waitress, and my parents used to run a restaurant, so it takes a lot to get me worked up. Our service was so bad I had a chat with the manager. My husband will tell you that I have never spoken to a manager about a bad meal in our 20+years together because it's never been this bad. During our next visit, a year later, we gave it a try again. Service was still not stellar, nor was the food. So, we've marked dinner at the Concourse off our list. We would be willing to give breakfast a try, though.

We have not tried Schula's, but I'm sure we will one of these days.

We ate at Le Cellier last year and thoroughy enjoyed the meal and like everyone said the cheese soup and pretzel bread are yummy. However, the steak was pretty good but we are trying somewhere else this time I think there might be a better one, but the mashed potatoes really stand out in my mind they had cream cheese in them the waiter said- absolutely the best I have ever had. So we will definetely being going back because it is a great restaurant and I think about that cheese soup, pretzel bread, and did I mention the CREAM CHEESE MASHED POTATOES but not because the steak was memorable.

I'm very curious to see how this turns out...thanks for polling! I have only eaten at Le Cellier...it's not a "must return" for me...maybe after I've tried every restaurant then I'll go back. I didn't particularly like the cheese soup or pretzel bread...I remember I did like my entree...a filet with potatoes on top or bottom...it was very tender and cooked right...

And neither of us (dh and I) liked the dessert....creme brulee I think? Wasn't crunchy enough on top...not cooked right. In reading past responses it really comes down to Yachtsman or Shula's....if you go before we go...I wish you'd try both then give us your opinion! :) We have children....an advantage to Shula's is the free child care with their dinner provided while Dad and I eat together...Yachtsman we'd take the kids with us.
