Which Steak at Le Cellier????

I am looking forward to our trip to Le Cellier in April. I have wanted to go for a long time. I was looking at the menu and 2 steaks look really good. Which do you like/love and why? Also what dessert?

Maple BBQ filet or Mushroom Filet????

The maple BBQ one sounds OK to me but the visual of the mushroom really sealed the deal for me.

I don't like mushrooms so it was an easy choice for me but I just had the Maple BBQ Filet for the first time last week and it was incredible!!!! It was so tender and cooked to perfection. My DMom had the mushroom Filet and said that it was the best filet she had ever had. Enjoy whichever you pick

Definitely! These came with the Maple Filet and were SO good. And I don't even like cream cheese

I have had every item on the le Cellier menu, it is difficult to go wrong. The smores dessert is very cool.

I had the mushroom filet last time (saw pics on the DIS and couldn't stop drooling), and it was delicious! And I don't like mushrooms...

DH had the maple BBQ filet and enjoyed it too.

We usually get the chocolate moose dessert to go since we're so full. Very good!

Mushroom Filet! Once DH and I had our first bite, we barely talked the rest of the meal, "Can't talk -- eating!" Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

My favorite is the Mushroom Filet! I always order it because it is sooo good!
The filet is so tender, and melts in your mouth. I also love mushrooms and risotto, so it is definatley for me.

My DS ordered the BBQ Filet, and I tasted a piece of it. I was suprised, it was also very good. I didn't think that I would like the BBQ Sauce on a Filet, but it was very tasty. But, since I just love the Mushroom Filet, I will have to stick with that.

I also just have to order the cheese soup as an appetizer. It is out of this world!!!

Desserts vary, when we were there this past Jan. I ordered the Smores, they were pretty good.

I was having this same dilemma. That Picture of the mushroom filet had me wishing for Wonka-vision. I have a feeling both me and DS10 (11 at time of trip) will both be getting that, b/c we both love mushrooms.

I am a member of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals) and totally endorse this thread.

My wife votes for the Mushroom risoto filet, but, I personally prefer the Prime Rib at Le Cellier.

Problem here is that Prime Rib is a roast not a steak, so, you may not care.

I have also had the New York Strip and it was quite lovely.

I wishi WDW would introduce Rib Eyes. THAT is the King of Steaks!

We had the Maple BBQ last time but got the BBQ sauce on the side AND ordered a side of Bernaise sauce. It was DIVINE that way!

DH gets the BBQ, he loves anything BBQ and that sauce is very different

I get the mushroom filet because of the risotto...it is wonderful

I have gone twice and both times have had the Maple BBQ filet. I love it. It is so good. I don't usually like maple that much but in this I love it and the cream cheese mashed potatoes it comes with are to die for. I would definitelyt reccomend the Maple BBQ filet.
