This is so weird! Why is this site only working for some people?

Let me ask this...

When you are posting your map how are you posting it? I copy/pasted the long link they give you straight to this box. I didn't add anything. I also didn't use any of the buttons like http://, IMG, etc. I also went directly to the site, I didn't follow any links.

Does that have anything to do with it?

Cool site but I can't get the map to come up either. But then again I don't know how to even put up a picture either.

I have been to 25 states, coast to coast in a car. Drove from CA to MO in college. 2 years ago we drove from MO to NYC.

Time for a road trip!

I went to the site following the link from someones page. I then re opened the DIS and posted a reply to the message (so I had 2 internet programmes open at the same time.) I then coppied the link from the box at the bottom and pasted it into the DIS page. I did not add any other words to the link. It worked fine for me.

I went to our Test site and finally got the map to work but only a couple of states showed up!


Oh well......I have been in or driven thru 29 states!

Argh- I can't get the US one to show up right... It keeps only showing three states, one of which is NY, which I've never been too. Anyway, I've been to 25 states: in the Midwest, West coast, and the Southeast (like FL! )

In any case, I was able to do the Europe one OK...

For those of you who keep getting those 3 states, the last part of your code is being cut off. Go back and edit and you'll see that you don't have the states listed at the end of your code. It should end with the abbreviations of all the states you've visited, e.g. "ALAKMSMNWY"

That's what happened to me when I tried to post it like a regular pic. So then I just copied and pasted the whole html code without using the "IMG" codes, and it worked.

Now if anyone can figure out how to get this to work on ezboards, please let me know. I tried to share it with my friends there, and it was driving me nuts... never worked.

I've been to twenty three states, so I'm doing pretty good on this thing. Need to get cracking on the states west of the Mississippi, though!

It's funny, I was going to buy one of those wood board puzzles of the US for my son. He loves maps, and I figured we could go over which states he's been to...now there's this cool website that does what I wanted.
