Which show would you pay extra moola for? You can base your choice on any reasons, past experience, theme preference, etc. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate a brief explanation of why! Would it be Hoop de Doo Revue, Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, or High Tea at the Gardenview Lounge?

The Hoop Dee Doo was a blast when we went in May 2007. My DS and DH laughed until there were tears streaming down their faces. They love slap-stick corny humor though, so if that isn't your thing, you might want to consider one of the others. It was definitely a high-light of our trip and we plan to do it again when we go in Aug 08.

I am doing the Hoop Dee Doo Review in August, I heard it is excellent..we can not wait! ;)

I would never go to the High Tea @ Gardenview Lounge. It was one of the worst places we have ever ate. We had a 2:30 ADR and were out of the place by 2:50. I have never been so rushed. There was a couple from Seattle next to us and they said they go to tea once a week and how relaxing and enjoyable it was. They said that tea at the Gardenview Lounge was nothing like it was supposed to be. Our waitress was rude and put everything down in front of us and never returned. I know it was probably a fluke that this happened but it was awful. For the money we paid we would not return.

We have done both HDDR and SOA. We would do both again but probably only SOA every 3-4 years..it was good but DH hates eating outside! :rotfl: HDDR was fantasic!! We wanted to start a tradition of going every year but may wait now until DS is a little older. :goodvibes

Hoop Dee Do. Great slapstick fun, ribs, fried chicken, strawberry shortcake... what's not to love? ;)

My whole family from my silly 6 year old to my hard-to-please husband loved HDDR. It was a blast!
