Which spa?

So on behalf of all of us Disney Brides I e-mailed the fabulous Dis Unplugged podcast with a question about the reception and special event options available for Escape brides. Not only was my question read on the podcast (WHILE I was in Disney on my planning trip nonetheless!!!) but they are going to do a whole segment about the topic so I got to pick a number. I got the e-mail today that I won a $100 gift certificate to one of the 3 big spas at Disney!!! Canyon Ranch, Mandala at the Dolphin or the Grand Floridian. I am thinking I will probably do a mani/pedi the day before the wedding but I am not sure which spa I should pick to get the gift certificate at? What do you guys think? Which spa is a) the nicest b) will get me the best value for my $100?

The only spa I can comment on was Mandala. I went there to get hair/makeup for my e-pics with Randy. The place has an amazing waiting area. I wasn't very impressed with my services, but like I said I only had hair and makeup done. On the other hand there massage rooms looked nice.
Here is one view of the waiting area. DF sat in there while I had my services, and he loved it.

Hi! Congrats that is so cool! I would pick Grand Floridian because I love the Grand and I checked out the spa before and it's very nice.

congrats! i have heard that the spa at ssr is the best!

when are they going to air the segment? i can't wait to hear something about dftw on there!

I'm not sure when the segment is going to be aired. They read my email on 1/30 I believe on the email show. I will ask them when to listen for it though. Which one is SSR? Is that Saratoga Springs? That isn't one of my options if so, just the Gaylord Palms Cayon Ranch, Mandala at the Swan and Grand Floridian. I am leaning towards Mandala because they have this cool sounding Ceremony of the Hands and Feet that is super pampering plus a mani/pedi. It is $120 and I want to treat my mom, but hey - $140 out of my pocket is better than $240, right?

Any other opinions are very welcome though!! I am not much of a spa person so others opinions really help out

I've been to the Mandara spa at the Dolphin and the Grand Floridian Spa. I've only been to the Mandara twice, both times when I was in Orlando while DH was working on a conference. The first time I was there, they did a fabulous job on my mani/pedi. I was just there again in January and they didn't do nearly as good a job. My manicure was chipping off less than a day later. I was quite disappointed. The entire staff is very nice though. The Grand Floridian Spa I have never had a problem at.

I went to the GF for a couples massage (not worth the money your just in the same room you dont talk and your head is down so you don't see either) , mani/pedi with my hubby the day before the wedding, it was very nice
