Which Spa to Visit??

I don't know if this is the right forum- but which spa on property would you choose? They seem to be similar in price- and we are staying at POFQ so we will have to travel to any of them. Wondered if people had any opinions....

I've only done the one at the Grand Floridian and the Coronado. I didn't care for the one at the GF--they were pushy with their products after our visit (this was back in 2000). I only get a massage and we stay at the CSR so it is convenient for us. I hear the one at the Saratoga is the best.

Does anyone have a link to offers and pricing at the various spas? I can find the GF spa, but thats about it. TIA!

I've been to the GF Spa once, returning for two treatments this June. I've been to the SSR Spa twice, and really prefer that one. It's much larger and offers more treatments. I'm only going to the GF Spa because we're staying there.

The GF Spa just doesn't give you that "Aaaah" spa feeling, you know what I mean? It's nice, just not amazing. It gets very crowded in the summer months with bridal parties. This trip I made evening appointments. Hopefully it won't be crowded.

The SSR Spa was just wonderful. Very tranquil, wonderful treatments, fantastic lounge, shower area, etc.... Just better in many ways. Loved the hydro tub there!!

I've heard the best spa on property is the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin. Now that looks amazing!

If location is not an issue, I'd say go to the Mandara Spa.

Sorry to hijack, but is the spa at CSR similar to the spa at AKL? I know that only some of the spas, like the one at GF and SSR are full service, and the spa at AKL had private massage rooms with low lighting and soothing music. Is it the same at CSR?

I would prefer a spa that was like the one at AKL, which is why I ask. :)

I've never seen the one at the AKL, but yes, the CSR has a private massage room with low lighting and soothing music. It is not a fancy spa at all. Here is a picture of one of the rooms (I don't need anything fancy...just a good masage) :)

GF, SSR, and Dolphin are the only full service spas on WDW property.

I believe that all resorts that have fitness centers, offer massage rooms.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for! :goodvibes

Is the price of a massage less than at the spa, since your not getting the entire spa experience? It should be.

Yes, it is $105 for a 50-minute aromatherapy massage as compared to $135 at the GF. Personally, I don't need the spa experience (I get that at home when I go every two or three months). The massage at Disney is just my "refresher" for the remainder of our trip for my tired back, legs and feet. :goodvibes

Dh and I did a spur of the moment couples massage at the GF on March 8th...OMG it was fantastic and gorgeous and wonderful and relaxing!

We are going to try the SSR spa in Oct, I hear the couples have a joint locker room so we can sit in the sauna and hot tub together

I'm looking for a price list for what each Spa offers. Can anyone help me out.

DDs and I go to the SSR spa each time we visit. We love the atmosphere, and the massages have been great. I have heard that GF's personnel in the spa left much to be desired.

This sounds very inviting! Looked at the link but didn't see any pictures other than what I presume is the lobby area. Have you heard of people going to this spa? Do you know if their lounge and shower areas are as nice as/better than SSR's? They really help to add to the experience. I wouldn't want to pass up on them unless I knew Mandara's were at least equally as nice. Thanks.
