okay.. I think I am narrowing it down.. :lmao: We are going in November.. will be on the dining plan and I want to do 1 signature ADR.. have 2 boys, 7 & 3.5 that do very well in restaurants.

This will be on a no park day.. We are staying at the Poly, PLUS, my in-laws will be joining us.. (they are in Florida during the winter so will come up to meet us one day). Price is not a problem for them.

I have it down to these..

California Grill
Yatchtsman
Narcoossee's
Flying Fish

Where would you go.. and if you have been to most of them can you rank them in order of best to worst? :thumbsup2

thank you!!

California Grill

Narcoossee
Flying Fish

I have not eaten at the Yachtsman. We are back from our Deluxe Dining trip and ate at 3 listed above as well as Artist Point and Hollywood Brown Derby, and California was by far the best. The nice thing about California Grill and Narcoossee is they are quick monorail ride/ boat ride from Poly.

California Grill (IMO-might be the most kid-friendly) and my personal favorite!!!
Narcoosees
Flying Fish
Yachtsman

Narcoosee's if you want a more classic meal
Cal Grill for something more interesting and inspired

then Yachtsmen
last Flying Fish

We ate at the Yachtsman last week, we were on the DxDD and I will not be going back. I love steak, eat it all the time but I can honestly say that the steak I got at Le Cellier beat the one I ordered at YM by a mile. I ordered it medium and I got it rare, really rare. I don't ever send food back so I didn't eat it at all. My DH said his steak was good but not worth the two table credits.

We love the Flying Fish, not only is the food great but the service and atmosphere are AMAZING. You can have a great night having fun on the Boardwalk before or after dinner!!!

If you're dining later in the day, you can watch Wishes from Narcoossee's or CG. CG might have a bigger impact on your kids (and big kids) as you can watch from outside on the roof-top viewing area. Save you're receipt and you can go back up later.

They're both good, and I've only experienced each once, but Narcoossee's swordfish will have me back for more someday.

Never been to Yachtsman but like the other three...
Most recent trip went to CG and Narcosee. Liked Narcosee better..filet was great as was a fish dish DW had. BTW you can watch Wishes from a chair on their small outdoor part, like CG though not rooftop - their viewing area is at water level -you can also see the seven sees lagoon light parade from Narcosee as it passes close by the restaurant - not as visible from CG. Narcossee is more traditional while CG is a little ecletic. FF is very good too...but the fireworks for me puts Narcosee (my choice) or CG before FF.

thank you everyone!!
I think we are going to go with either CG or Yatchtmans..
I am leaning more toward CG just for the view..

we are staying at the Poly so I am sure we see wishes plenty from the beach.. I think the CG may be the best choice for us and the boys..
