DH and I will be doing the dining plan on our next trip and due to some careful planning with the credits, we'll be able to do 2 signature restaurants. One is going to be CA Grill, DH is insisting as he has never eaten there, while I have 2x now. For my choice I'd rather try something I haven't done before which removes Jiko and HBD from the list.

So which would you choose and why?

Artist Point
Citricos
Flying Fish Café
Narcoossee's
Yachtsman Steakhouse

Artist Point is lovely. I've had two excellent meals there, and would love to go back, but also need to try other restaurants. The Buffalo sirloin, cedar plank salmon, and coffee served two ways dessert are all great!

But since you will be dining at CG the same trip, you might want to try a signature restaurant in another part of the resort (i.e. Flying Fish or Yachtsman Steakhouse).

Since they are all good, that is good advice. Near the Boardwalk, either FF or YSH would be nice--I prefer the FF myself.

I wouldn't miss Artist Point for anything. All of the restaurants are remarkable, but Artist Point stands head-and-shoulders above the rest. Along with Jiko, it is our favorite at WDW. And Wilderness Lodge is worth visiting on its own.

Artist Point and Citricos are tied for my favorite restaurant. If I had to choose between the two of them, I'm not sure I could.

I do get a little disappointed that Citricos doesn't seem to get a lot of "traffic" on these boards. I hardly see anyone talking about it and it is a lovely restaurant.

Artist Point, absolutely. It's been our favorite for years. We have never had a bad experience there & have had some food that's good enough to give you goosebumps....

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Citricos but I was not full when I left.
Next to CG, my favorite is YSH.

but I was not full when I left
At the finer restaurants, they're now serving more reasonable portions.

Just a clarification... I meant "reasonable" as per dieticians and nutritionists -- i.e., smaller portions.
