Which Signature Dining should I add?

I will be travelling to WDW with a party of six that includes 4 kids (4-16) and will be taking advantage of the Deluxe Dining Plan. The way that our ADR's are working out it looks like I will have some extra credits and was hoping to take advantage of some of the signature dining experiences that with such a diverse crowd I wouldn't otherwise try.

Of the following...

Signature restaurants requiring 2TS credits:
• Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge)
• California Grill (Contemporary Resort)
• CRT character breakfast/lunch/dinner with photo package (Magic Kingdom)
• Citricos (Grand Floridian)
• Flying Fish Café (Boardwalk Inn & Villas)
• Hollywood Brown Derby (MGM Studios)
• Jiko - The Cooking Place (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
• Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian)
• Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club)

Dinner Shows requiring 2TS credits:
• Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (Polynesian)
• Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (Fort Wilderness)
• Mickey's Backyard Barbeque (Fort Wilderness)

...I have booked Hoop Dee Doo, Brown Derby Famtasmic Package (worried about the menu choices here with picky eaters) and CRT. I could do 2 more signatures... any suggestions? I am also considering leaving the kids at the room one night with a signature pizza delivery :rotfl: and going somewhere nice with DH so sugggestions along those lines would help too!

Thanks in advance!

You can choose surf and turf or Whole lobster. The whole lobster is served all opened up; so, you don't struggle with a thing.

I believe this is probably the best restaurant Disney has on the plan based on what others have stated, here.

My vote would be for California Grill for a smaller group. Hoop Dee Doo Revue is awesome for a large group though! :cool1:

This may sound silly, but what about picking a place based on the resort? I know my kids love checking out the different resorts on vacation. For example, you could pick Jiko and then check out the animals on the savannah while you are there, or Flying Fish and then have some fun on the Boardwalk after your meal. Just an idea.:goodvibes

I just got back from my trip (May 3rd-10th). I did the DxDDP and not being a breakfast eater did a Signature Restaurant every night of my trip. The best meal of the week, by far, was Narcoosee.:cloud9: Try to get an ADR there in time to watch Wishes.

By the way, I ate at: Flying Fish, Yatchsman, Artist Point, Citricos, California Grill, and Boma. Narcoosee was by far the best of the bunch. In fact for our Sept trip we are only do one Signature restaurant and already have an ADR for Narcoosee.

Flying fish or Narcosee's....leave the kids at home;)

As others have stated the surf n turf is to die for:goodvibes
The charbroiled steak at FF is amazing as well.
Happy planning
Kerri
