which side of space mountain do you prefer?

This is great! I've never really noticed a difference after many trips and many eride nights. I'll have to check out the air time difference and report back. Hope to get in two eride nights next week. Also, my 12yo DS may have an opinion on this.

Funny thing, my 10 you DD will not ride SM. My fault, I brought her on it when she was 4 - our first trip as a family and my first trip in years. Shoulda known better, HOWEVER, she LOVES Thunder Mountain and swears that Engine 4 is faster than the rest... Hmmm, might have to start a new post...

We like the left side much better too - Anyone else think it's darker as well as having more airtime?

On the teen boards, the majority definitely was for the right because everybody said it was the fastpass side. I know that's the FP side at the very beginning of the two lines, but I don't think they understood what I really meant, by the two lines in the main room.... oh well!!

I've heard that the tracks are identical, but then I've heard that they are two differently designed tracks. I'm going with the later choice, though!!

Instead of having my arms all the way up, I just have them with the upper arm down and the forearm bent at the elbow up. It looks a whole lot like I'm surrendering, but hey, it's a whole lot funner that way!!

The left definately has better drops.

I am shocked! by this survey!! My whole family loves the RIGHT side. We think that the left side is way too jerky. I asked the CM at the exit about the difference between the 2 sides ecause we hated the left side so much. He said that they are identical but mirror images.

I'll need to see if I can find them again, but I've seen the blue prints of the tracks and they are identical. Maybe it is due to the switch of 180 degrees it causes the better sensation.
