Which show at MGM for young kids?

I have a four year old boy and six year old girl - I'm not sure if we'll have time to see both Indiana Jones and the Lights, Motor, Action show. The kids have never seen either, but we adults have seen Indiana Jones. My little boy loves cars, loud noises, action, etc., - any suggestions which one would be better for us if we can't do both? We're going to be there next week if that makes a difference. Thanks!

I haven't seen Lights camera action (or whatever) but I'd say for all round appeal you can't beat Indy-specially if your kids have seen the films. There are a lot of the scenes from the first film-getting chased by the big ball, the sticks shooting up out of the ground, explosions, people falling off of buildings and lots of fights and fire!

Playhouse DIsney, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast are your BEST bets for kids:)

ON a really hot day I would say Indy because LMA is really hot. If you plan out your day ahead of time you can propably put them both into the schedule if you will be there all day, just make sure you know the schedule because LMA is usually only 3 times per day while Indy is about 5 times I think. MGM is the park that it is most important to plan out your day if you want to catch all the shows. It isn't hard once you have decided what you really want to do.

My son fell asleep both times I took him to Indiana Jones and he has seen the movies. We stick with Playhouse Disney, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast.

Here's what my six year old DD princess: says-"I liked Lights, Motor, Action because they did really cool stunts! One guy slid through the fire and they also were driving backwards over the ramp! :moped: It was sort of like there's something that protects them from the fire on their suits. I think maybe your 6 year old would like it too! Oh yeah-your 4 yr. old son would REALLY love it! I think he'd want it to be at his house."

From her mom-I think the kids would enjoy LMA more than Indy-though I really like it, DD says-"well, maybe".

For sure she loves Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast shows. We see Ariel's show every trip-it's really nice when it's hot outside-and they have Fast Pass! Beware, if it's cool out, that there is cool mist sprayed throughtout the theater during several times in the show (and bubbles). We don't always see B&B only due to the weather-when it's hot out :sunny: , the theater can be uncomfortable.

Since both shows would be "new" for your kids I would suggest seeing the one you have not seen already. I have three boys ages 9,6 & 5 and they all loved the LMA show. Then again, my oldest two also loved the Indiana Jones show (and my youngest one tolerated it just didn't "love" it).

If you are considering another show in addition to one of those two shows I would suggest seeing The Little Mermaid...all three of my boys love that one.

No matter what else you fit in, if possible, be sure to see Fantasmic!! That is my entire family's favorite "show".

Enjoy whatever show you chose! :wizard:
