Which service provider do you use?

I use dial up--I know, I'm still in the 20th Century. But I like Juno Speedband. I've used Juno for about 3 years and it's inexpensive. Takes FOREVER for pictures to load though!

We use cable modem. Before this we had dsl through Southwestern Bell. We like them both. DH wil never have a dial up connection. He will go without internet before he has dial up. He also HAS to have a specific type of internet connection (ethernet?) and it has to be so fast. He's a spoiled brat and has turned me into one too. My mom has Walmart dial up and has never had any problems with it. My inlaws have AOL dsl and they always have trouble.

My family currently uses DSL from speakeasy.net, and has been VERY satisfied with the service. We're very dissapointed that speakeasy won't be able to provide DSL service in our new location

Roadrunner cable from Time Warner. I have a Juno free account for when we travel, otherwise no dial-ups ever for me.

I can't stand AOHell. I heard Earthlink is pretty good.

For dial up my fav has been peoplepc.
We have used comcast cable and Verizon dsl...both are great.

We have a local DSL provider, Nauticom. I have never had any problems with the service, which I have had for almost five years. They have only gone down once that I have noticed, and that was for six hours. (Which seemed like six years when I wanted to DIS  )

DSL with our phone company. We went with them, because they were the first to offer high speed in our neighborhood. Now there are other options, but we're fine.

and Atlantic Broadband..was Charter but they were recently bought out..wouldn't go back to dial up modem for a million dollars!

Comcast, and they are fine. Rarely a problem, only once I can recall, a few weeks ago. They came out, something outside and fine since. Always fast, I'm happy (now if we could just have the DIS server cooperate).

We switched from a local service to DSL from Southwestern Bell
in June, and we love it. We have three computers going all the time.

We're on Adelphia Cable and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Our neighbor has Verizon DSL and they're quite happy with them too.

We use our local cable provider, Blue Ridge Cable.
I love it, it is so much faster than dial up, but more expensive.

I use comcast- broadband, and Mozilla Firefox as a web browser.

comcast and I seem to like it, better then when I had AOL, that really bites the big one. :D

Thanks so much for all your replies so far, :Pinkbounc

I'm hoping my friend can find one that allows her to see our webcam as AOL doesn't!!! We don't get to meet up as often as we'd like, with us living so far a part :( so its very frustrating

Bev :wave2:
