Which section would you recommend at SSR?

We are taking all teens and pre-teens. I can't decide between Congress to be close to DDT or staying in one of the sections near the large pool....

We stayed here once before and stayed in Congress. It was great! But, that was in December and we didn't go to the pool that often.

I would request to be in either the Springs or the Grandstand. The Springs is right next to the main pool area, AP and the check in area. The Grandstand is the newer section and it has a nice pool area as well. I think someone referred to it as the second feature pool/spray area. I saw pictures of it and it looked very fun. And its not that far from the Springs either from looking at the map.

Hey Luv...

We'll be there in about 3 months and 7 days. We are going to request either Grandstand or Springs since they are close to pools.

We've got the same age group going with us so we need to be close to the action up front in the resort.

We just came back from SSR last week and we were the first ones in the new building at the Grandstand! What a great area to be staying at!
We were in building that starts with 8500-8800 and it was a very quick walk over to the main lobby and main pool. Directly next to us was the new pool and it is amazing! Great theme like a circus tent with bright red and horse track starting gate that shoots water out and can spray each other.
We like that is seemed so close to the main area of SSR. Now we drove down to Congress Park (last building/parking area) and parked our car and then walked over to DD via walkway. We did not take the ferry because it only comes every 30 min during the day. It worked out great!
Our view from the room was the golf course. So close we could watch the golfers.
I would make your requests of location when you are making your reservations because they will more likely be accommodating when you arrive.

Thanks for all your suggestions! I especially like the idea of driving down to the Congress building to walk over to DDT.
