too bad. Wish I was on the cruise with you. I hate the thought of waiting 16 months. Oh well, it just wouldn't have worked out this year for us. Let me know how it is after you get back,
Makaylee,
We were in room 5000 on our cruise in Oct and could not see CC just the cement pier because we backed in. I'm not so sure about the port side lingo but as you are facing the front of the ship 5000 or 5020 is on the left side of the ship. We are booked for room 5520 on our cruise in April 2005.
I'm having a real chuckle here about so many of us in 5220 - especially with BWVPam being there 10 days after me.
Looks like maybe we could start some secret codes to leave in the room for the next occupants to find? Maybe leave a note discreetly pinned inside the fold of a curtain.
This could become like the WL box - the one that's hidden in the woods.
But I'm thinking there's not much room to hide anything in these cabins!
We were in 5020 last June. It was a great view! There wasn't a steamer trunk in it then. We are anxiously awaiting the summer 2005 dates to come out so we can book our next cruise.
By the way, 5020 was not noisy at all when we stayed in it.
how funny, I was originally booked in 5020 for the 1st weekend in June and then we changed it to the 29th and got 5520. What a small world. I am sure we will be bumping into each other a lot.
Oddly enough, these rooms aren't as close to each other as one might think. We were in 5520 and barely saw the people in 5020, who I had "met" on the DIS prior to our cruise.
We stayed in 5520 last November. It does not have the steamer trunk and with four of us, it was tight for places to store clothing. We have also moved the life vests under the bed for additional closet storage. It is a very convenient location for the clubs and the Walt Disney Theater and shops.
