Which scooter company can be dropped off with bell services?

Which is why the BBB rating on scooterbug has absolutely no value or meaning. Saying it has a F rating is dishonest, if you know BBB also lists scooterbug with an A rating. BBB never answered my email asking for clarification.
DH has been told that one is meant to be for the Scooterbug parent company that sells scooters and another is for the local company that rents them. The problem is there is nothing to tell someone going to review Scooterbug at the BBB this and so you end with a mix on both listings. Which makes them fairly useless now.

You can try to look at which of the BBB listings have more activity if complaints, reviews, etc. (Last I looked it was the one with the F rating, but that may have changed). But that still doesn't necessarily tell you if people have mixed up which is which.

Which is why we also have to look at yelp, Google, Facebook and other rating sites, which are a very mixed bag overall for Scooterbug compared to all 5 star ratings for Gold.

Admittedly, as a result, we were very suspicious about this when we first starting using Gold, as generally only companies that bribe their customers or ask their customers to give 5 star ratings get anywhere near that and even then they rarely do, but while Gold Mobility has asked for a honest review of their service, they never once have even so much as hinted at asking for a 5 star rating, they just have constantly earned it. They have proven they deserve the all 5 star ratings that they keep getting.

That isn't to say there isn't ever an issue, but rather that IF there ever is an issue, they handle it quickly and with great care and go out of their way to make it right. Far more than any other company that we had rented from in the past had done.

In the past, before Gold Mobility we had a scooter that the battery only lasted a few hours and the company refused to do anything. Another company, the scooter was dead, but outside their operating hours (8 PM) and they wouldn't bring a new one until 11 AM the next day.

With Gold, we had a scooter that wouldn't turn on, they were able to help us fix it with a simple text message with instructions and it worked fine after that (turned out the CM thst moved the scooter did something wonky with the neutral lever). Another was when they first got the Maximas they were testing new headlights, which ended up not working right, so they literally came to us where we were to fix them. By the way, we knew up front that we were guinea pigs and Gold offered us a deal for that.

Another example of their level of customer service, we were staying at OKW, got in at like 2 AM, so obviously we weren't able to have them drop off at that time, nor would we have asked them to. Bell Services took us to our room upon arrival and likely would have picked us up, but the time we wanted to get going in the morning, Bell Services would have been extremely busy, so instead of making us get to the hospitality house, they brought our scooters to our room. I haven't seen any other crazy do that, doesn't mean they won't, it just means I haven't seen other companies do it. Especially back at that point.

Now in all fairness to other companies, when Gold Mobility first came on the scene, almost all ofnthe scooters from other rental companies looked like they had been through several wars. Since Gold Mobility has been around, DH and I have noticed a marked improvement in at least the appearance of the condition of scooters from other companies, but there are still quite a few bad looking ones out there. So, it seems like at bare minimum, Gold has forced other companies to up their game some, not sure if it is a direct relation to Gold or coincidence, either way better condition scooters is a win for all. The bigger problem now are the horror stories DH keeps hearing from people who rent from companies other than Gold that show up to find their rental company has oversold their rentals and end up not having a device and the worst offender of this seems to be Scooterbug. When you reserve with Gold, they do not overbook. In fact, I know it used to be that when you make a reservation with Gold they assigned a specific device to your reservation and only changed the device if there became an issue with that particular device before your reservation to ensure that everyone that booked had not only a scooter, but the specific model that they reserved. I am not sure if this is still how they do it or not, but I would suspect it is.

So, since BBB Ratings seem unreliable at the moment, we really gave to gonoff of reviews and guest experiences on other sites.

For DH and I, after having rented from many other companies before Gold Mobility came around, I can honestly say that Gold Mobility was a game changer that was desperately needed and honestly, we wouldn't rent from anyone else.

The only problem is now is thst DH wants to hold all other companies (Mobility related or otherwise) to the same standards of customer service as Gold Mobility provides and not many companies, not even Disney comes close. We had found two scooter rental companies out here in California that did, but sadly one of them lost most of their inventory during the theme park closures because of hotels that had theirndevices at bellnservices and either didnt know what happened to them when they reopened or hte hotels never reopened, and the closures out here lasted longer, resulting in more devices that they do have with issues that they haven't been able to fully repair due to supply chain issues and they ended up not being able to recover. The other is still around, but is still operating with a massively reduced inventory for the same reason.

And several other of the rental companies out here also went out of business because of the closures, which has put more pressure on the remaining companies in Southern California. It has gotten so bad that many local pharmacies that didn't used to do rentals are now doing them if they have inventory, but that is another story and about California. But what has happened out here does show the importance of there being competition, not only to keep everyone honest, but to help ensure no one company gets overwhelmed. But that means that the customer has to do their due dillegence to make sure that who they are renting from will do the right thing. I am not convinced the Scooterbug will. Gold Mobility, I know from experience will and there are a few others like Walker Mobility that DH has heard good things about. There are other companies, such as Apple and Buena Vista (appologies to the Disboards as i know they are a sponsor, but they were the ones that wouldnt take care of a rental issue at 8 PM and left us high and dry in the past, again admittedly this was before Gold Mobility came on the scene, so they may have changed, but why risk it when we know what Gold Mobility will do, even at 11 PM in the parks or Disney Springs? Yes, Gold will bring a replacement to you at that time if day, even though they dont do initial delivieries at that time and they will bring it tonwhere you are if needed, although since they replace their equipment every 6 months, the likelihood of this occuring with Gold is extremely low.), we know from experience won't do the right things, which is why Gold Mobility is getting so much love from us and so many others.

We rented two scooters from Gold last March. For the first, they met us in the lobby of CSR and were FANTASTIC about the fact that our flight was delayed and transportation lines for ME was longer than expected. They showed up as I was checking in to the hotel and had me on my way in no time. The second scooter we rented was just as easy at delivery. Both scooters were in excellent shape and the batteries were never a problem for either. Turning them back in was no problem either. Throughout the entire experience they were responsive and flexible when we needed them to be. I will absolutely use them again.
Agreed their service is truly excellent.

I had difficulty with Gold in early December and went with Scooterbug for NYE. That went well, so we are giving Scooterbug another chance next week.

Our drop off/pick up experiences with Gold isn’t as nice as others have mentioned. They always seem angry with us on the phone. We have had more pleasant experiences with Walker, but they too can’t drop off.

Gold gave me a scooter that lost 5 bright lights within an hour. I brought it back to BCV and had to walk to Epcot that night as I left it recharging. I was told that loosing those lights didn’t mean the ECV would die on me. I was a nervous wreck.

Every business has some good reviews and some bad reviews. Not every customer will be happy. It’s also important to remember that people are much more likely to post a negative review than a positive review unless incentivized. I am just as wary of any business that only receives all positive reviews as one that gets all negative.

Based on the thread title, OP’s question was very specific and has been answered. Therefore I am closing this thread.
