Is it Paddock? Also how do I know when I have arrived at the stop I need to get off at? (other then asking the bus driver. :) ) Does the bus stop say Paddock Stop? We would like to get to DTD earlier then the buses start running there from Pop (they start around 9am) so we can pick up a rental car from one of the hotels on hotel plaza Blvd we have booked. I am thinking of grabbing a bus to the MK since they run early for before park opening breakfasts (or DHS cause they have morning EMH that day) and then take a bus from there to Saratoga Spring then walk over to DTD and on to the hotel from there. I know it is a lot of transfers and bus time but I think it will be better for our family to be doing something (going places/riding buses) then just sitting around the resort waiting for the DTD buses to start running. Also if we get a bus to the park which park you think is better MK or DHS to transfer to saratoga springs that early?

Your easiest way to do this would be to take a cab to the DTD hotel where you are planning to rent the car. It will only take minutes instead of an hour. And it shouldn't be all that expensive to do.

Park bus route (from park) goes: Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, Springs.

DTD bus route (from DTD) goes: Springs, Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park.

If you want to walk to DTD it is Congress Park you want.

It'll take you at least an hour to do what you are proposing.

Thanks for the bus stop order. :thumbsup2

We are trying to save money by renting a car (got a REALLY good deal) to go to the Character Warehouse Outlets at both Premium Outlets for a bunch of souvenirs so no taxi for us thanks.

The cab will probably be really cheap for a short distance from Pop Century. My time is more valuable than that. You'll spend a lot more on the rental car than the cab. There isn't much of a markdown on the stuff at the outlet malls either. I'd bet the cab will be less than the cost of a tshirt.

I priced out a cab from DTD to just the outlets on Vineland ave which is 3miles away and it was $17 one way. Our car rental is about that much. So don't want to pay more for a taxi just to get our rental car if the buses are free.

I believe the poster was suggesting taking a cab from Pop to DTD.

If MK or DHS are my options... I'd vote for DHS as it's closer to both Pop and SSR then the MK.

We'd most likely then exit on Congress Park... and walk from there.
