Which room

I need help with choosing accomodations for AKL. I could go with a studio with a savanna view or a 1 brm with standard view. My kids want the 1 brm so there will be a pull out chair also and will not have to share the pull out sofa. I can't blame them. My son is 10 and my daughter is 6. They know they are giving up the savanna view. My husband wants the savanna view - says that's why we are staying there - I actually think he is really excited to see the animals. We also save alot of points that way. I personally would like a 1 bdrm with a savanna view but unfortunately not enough points. Having our own room would be nice but I also like to conserve points for additional trips! Also where to stay - Kidani or Jambo? We don't like alot of walking but we like as much room as possible. Are there rooms in Kidani that are close to Jambo and the pool? I am totally clueless so any help would be great!

with 1-bedroom would go with Kidani

with studio would go with Jambo house.

now to which - have you considered bring an air mattress (twin) for the other child?

that said only stay in standard or value. you can see the animals. every floor has several big windows to the savannah. He will see animals. now that say some people think it is just great to wake up and see them immediately.
I am too cheap for that option.

We always bring an airmattress with us...I have 4 children 1 still under 3 so we can travel as a family of 5 for another year...anyway my children can not/will not fall asleep sharing a bed our first trip we put blankets at the side of our bed then moved the one into the bed once one of them were sleeping the next year we started bringing the airmattress...we have small toddler size sleeping bag style ones the kids love it and they take turns each night it has made our lives so much easier

I would go with a 1-bedroom at Jambo standard view. All the standard view at Jambo have a pool view. The public animal viewing areas are fine just for us. You would only have one bathroom. If getting savanah I would go with Kidani.

I would take the studio with the savannah view.... esp. since that's what your DH wants. Kids of that age (10yo & 6yo) should not be deciding on the sleeping arrangements...they are not paying for the vacation. At least that wouldn't fly in my house. Heck, mine are older than that & still share a bed on vacation.

The savannah view is awesome...just sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee, watching the animals = paradise

daisyduck123 - That is exactly what my dh said! I like the air mattress idea except we will be flying and I don't know if we will have room. Then the kids will probably fight over who gets the air mattress! I like the idea of having alot more space b/c we do spend time in the room. Maybe we should go with Jambo b/c my dh says does not want alot of walking. Does he realize we are going to Disney World?
