Previous vacationers please help, which buildings are best?
LiteBrite said:No opinion to offer about which buildings, but I can tell you that all the buildings in Pop have elevators, so your stroller shouldn't be a problem wherever you end up.
I was going to suggest an upper floor due to quietnessnum1tigerfan said:We are staying Jan.19-22 precruise and I was wondering the same thing. We have never stayed at Pop and didn't know which building to request with DS-4, and DD-3. Upper floors will not work because we will be using a stroller.

It was incredible quiet and we just walked out of our door, turned to the left and could watch the upper IllumiNations show.

We ended up in the 50s all the way back at the T and it is quite a hike to the busses or food court. Upon checkin I asked if this room was close by due to health issues and the girl snapped "its right out there". I requested this as soon as ressies were made, even said I would pay extra if need be to be centrally located and was told that rooms are close by without paying extra. After finally hiking to our room and being SOB
i called front desk and asked to be moved would be more than willing to pay extra, no luck resort booked, not available. I called for next 2 days and told same thing. Don't count on your request being honored even if a health issue. I always stayed at a Deluxe, will be doing so from now on. Had no issues with the resort, was very clean and rooms nice, staff that I had interaction with at check in not so nice, I realize not everyones request can be honored, but with health issues and willing to pay to be upgraded is not honored I find that a problem. Would say if you can walk without difficulty and have no problems with this than this resort is fine, I prefer when the staff at least listens to your request and why.
How can you tell which building is number 3? The maps of Pop Century that I've found online have the buildings identified by decade, and then A, B, or C.*NikkiBell* said:Building #3 in the 1950's section is ideal. We stayed there on the top floor and adored how close it was to the buses, the 1950's and the 1960's pool, and the main hall. You can't go wrong with the 1950's.
