I am scared of drops. I hate that feeling you get going down them. The biggest thrill ride i have done is BTMRR. I love Test Track and Soarin'. I want to try SpaceMountain and Everest and RnR. I dont hate speed or twists or even going upside down, just drops. What rides do you think I will be okay on and which should I aviod?

Also, in EE, when you are going backwards do you go down any drops or just forward ones? and how are they compared to BTMRR?

thanks!

Stay away from EE...yes there is HUGE drop, like 80 ft. drop. Space Mountain probably won't bother you, but Splash Mountain will. RnR might not bother you as it's mostly just fast spins and turns, although it does not compare to BTMR.

Well Space Mountain has alot of drop and they are in the dark.
RnR If I recall correctly doesn't drop to much but it does loop quite a bit.
Haven't been on Everest I was there the preview week...and the person that I was supposed to meet to try it flaked on me.

As for other thrill rides there....
obviously stay away from the Tower of Terror if you hate drops.

not much else except the dinoland usa coaster that i can think for you to shy away from.

I'm exactly the same way. I do OK on Space Mt :woohoo: .. The drop is not too bad, and I think I would do fine on Rock N Roller :rockband: Coaster because from what my kids tell me, it's just speed and twists, which don't bother me. I've also been on a coaster that goes upside down :upsidedow and that doesn't bother me either. I'm not sure about EE, it looks like it drops!! :scared1:

I think if you can handle BTMR, you could handle Splash. I think you could handle Dinosaur too. Have fun ... most of the Disney rides, even the ones with drops didn't leave you hanging there anticipating the drops like other roller coasters - so you just might be ok to do them all! But EE may be pushing it.

It's very seldom mentioned, but Pirates Of The Caribbean has a drop. It's a small one, but it's in the dark, and you get a little splashed. It was no problem for me (ride wimp), but my wife (who REALLY hates drops) would have died a thousand deaths on it. (She wouldn't go back on Dumbo because of the height, and was a bit jarred by the "heights" of Peter Pan. Really.)

On the Haunted Mansion, you go backwards down a little slope -- even I wouldn't call it a drop. :lmao:

Many or most of the 3d movies give you a visual sensation of falling.

Exact same way...hate the drops. RnR was fine, I mean, the drop wasn't noticeable, maybe because you don't see one? I hate Splash, but have to do it each trip for the kids, but really don't like it (just the drop). Space, IMO, wasn't bad either, but it is not a smooth ride, so we only rode it our first trip. POTC is fine, and Barnstormer is much tamer than BTM, but I found the seats were hard on the back. Everything else in MK should be fine. Nothing else to worry about in MGM other than RnR and TOT (obviously, avoid that one...my true nightmare ride!). Epcot has the Malestrom in Norway, has a bit of a hill, much smaller than BTM. Test Track is great fun, Soarin' is awsome, haven't done Mission:Space, might try the tame version next trip.

Haven't been on EE; is there much of a forward drop in the ride, or is it mainly backwards? I can handle the backwards drops for some reason, maybe your tummy reacts differently while resting on your back? :confused3 Whatever it is, if the drop is backwards, I think I'll be able to try it next time...anyone? And the Primevil Whirl looks like a ride I wouldn't enjoy, so I haven't tried it either :goodvibes The rest of AK should be fine.

Enjoy!

The big drop on EE is frontwards.
