can't answer this, but would love to know as well!

At MK, we got pictures from Space Mt, Splash and Buzz Lightyear.
AK-EE, Dinosaur
Epcot-TT
HS-ToT, RnR

I think that is all. My kids rode a lot without us and just scanned the card when they came though. So funny to see those pictures.

Do you only get these now if you purchase something in advance?

I got a few ride photos with my Photopass in November, but didn't get any on our trip in late December.

Yeah and always has been, cept for tt pre refurb.

There was a test that happened where some folks were getting ride photos added but essentially it was a happy accident.

How do I receive my attraction photos?

A: After you finish riding a participating attraction, the guest with the Memory Maker entitlement needs to stop at that attraction’s Sales Center within 24 hours and associate the photo to their MagicBand, Memory Maker card or Disney PhotoPass Card.

I went to the facebook link and saw this. I thought since it included the travel parties photos that my sister could scan her band at the attraction photos places and have it added but this sounds like I have to go there each time? Can anyone verify?

I'm gonna bump this as I have exactly the same question.

If I have 6 people added via MDE to MM, 4 of them ride a ride without me, can they still get the ride photo by scanning their MB? Or do I need to be with them, since I will be the one with the entitlement?

It also sounds like you can add a photopass card to your Memory Maker account. Friends can get pictures made with that card and you just put in the number. Not sure but that is what it sounds like.

In theory, I suppose. During our recent trip (4-11 Jan 2014), Photopass pix were waiting for us online later in the day they were taken. Two whole days of ride photos, OTOH, never made it. Online help was initially no help at all. DS visited the photo center at EC and spoke with a CM who knew the story. Here's what they recommended, and here's what we did:

At each ride with MM entitlement (enumerated elsewhere), record the photo number and optionally take a photo of the monitor. Retain these in case of problems later. Then ask photo purchase CM to put ride photo on your MM, and put it on a ride photopass as backup. Many CMs have been hearing complaints about ride photos not making it onto MM directly, and were willing to do this. One CM asked me for 15 bucks; I declined and had another CM put it on a ride photopass later. Then you can claim the photos later.

The ride photopass backup will probably not be issued so willingly after kinks have been shaken out of the MM setup, but do retain at least the photo number and, if you have it, the screenshot of the monitor, until the photos are in-hand in the digital sense.

We were able to obtain some of our ride photos from our first theme park day this most recent visit; the online "my photos are missing" route did bear at least some fruit. The $149 advance purchase would have been an unqualified thumbs up experience were it not for the aggravation of dealing with the missing ride photos (and the disappointment of those still lost in the ether). We'll probably go for the MM next time. So be advised, keep those number chits, at the very least, -- date them -- and you will hopefully avoid the issues that tainted our experience.

Sorry, mialovesariel, for hijacking your thread for my questions! :hippie:

I live abroad, so I won't get a Photo Pass or anything sent to me, I will be do this with MagicBands alone. (Will receive my MagicBands upon check-in)
The rest of my party will arrive before us. Will they be able to use Memory Maker with the MagicBands before I (the one holding the entitlement) arrive? As long as we're all linked to the MemoryMaker via myDisneyExperience.

The downloading of the Pictures for me as the entitlement holder should not be an issue.

Thanks Harrison Tinker Bell- I'll tell my sister to do that. She is on my mde account and reservations, she does not have a separate account so I'm hoping it won't be a problem to add her ride photos even though I won't be with her when she is on those rides and I will be the one with the MM entitlement.

We are going in June and I bought MM - it's linked to my account (I'm the main MDE person) although my husband is the "reservation" name. The nice Disney lady I just spoke with on the phone told me that's not an issue.

I'm reading slightly different things (even in this thread, possibly, unless I'm misunderstanding posts) about how to handle RIDE photos when the main MM person (i.e. me) isn't on a ride. I see the suggestion that the people on the ride should take a picture of the picture so they'll have the ride info....

I'd love to hear from anyone who's experienced this recently to see how it worked out for their family when the main MM person wasn't on a ride - how did you handle it?
