I'm sorry if this has been asked several times already. I did a search and couldn't find anything on this.

I have a 7 yr, 5yr and a 9 month old and I was wondering what things can the 9 month old go on?

Earthquake???
E.T. Adventure???
Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast???

He is a very good natured little guy and can handle many things an older toddler could do (he has two older brothers and they kind of toughed him up :rotfl: )

We leave this Saturday and I have not been to Universal/IOA in a very long time.

Thanks!

Just bumping this up.....I'm hoping someone with little kids will see this :wave2:

i asked the same question basically...it's on this board somewhere entitled "10 month old & rides" & i don't know how to link it for you.

Anyway, my understanding is that the baby can sit in your lap for Jimmy Neutron & Shrek - i'm going to sit in the stationary seats that they offer. otherwise, they don't let you put the baby in your lap or wear the baby in a carrier (baby bjorn, etc) for most of the other rides like ET & Earthquake. The child has to be able to sit in his/her own seat, which would be impossible on ET & i would think dangerous on Earthquake. Hopefully you'll have another adult w/ you so that you can do a baby swap if you want to ride also. That's what we plan to do in 2 weeks. Please let me know how you find US to be w/ your baby when you return so i can learn from you. Hopefully, you'll get more responses to your questions before you leave from someone who has been. Meanwhile, try to find that thread that i mentioned above. good luck.

Thanks that link to Universal was very handy.

I have the feeling that I'll be pretty sick of Barney by the time I'm out of there (since that is about the only safe thing they have there for such little ones) :rotfl:

A couple more suggestions ...

-- The play area If I Ran the Zoo is more crawler-friendly than some of the others. Me Ship the Olive is also good. There is also a nice play area (and inside too!) at Barney.
-- I have read (but haven't tried it) that you can ask the operator to turn the spin off on the Cat in the Hat. Without the spinning it would be pretty tame since it doesn't dip.
-- The CaroSeussel has stationary seats and it's a lot of fun for babies just to look at the other "horses".
-- Again, this is secondhand (sorry) but was told there was also stationary seating available on E.T. Might be worth asking about.
-- I sat through Shrek with baby on lap and she was just fine. Laughed, actually.
-- Baby should be fine at Animal Planet show.
-- A baby that young might not be scared by Twister or Poseidon's Fury, both of which are walk-through and you can hold the baby. They are quite loud, though. I walked through Poseidon's Fury with a little one; she was fine.

Good luck. I am sure the baby will be entertained since there is just so much to look at everywhere around them at Universal. And you can always use the baby swap for your can't-miss rides.

Thanks everyone for your replys. I will make sure I come back on here when we get back to let everyone know what things he enjoyed doing and to answer anyone elses questions.

-They can't turn the spin off at CITH anymore.
-There are no stationary seats on Caro-Seuss-el. The Chariots, which are normally stationary on other carousels, do move up and down.
-There are no stationary seats on ET. The bikes all move together.

:)

You will actually enjoy the Barney show. My mom and I every-so-often go to see it just to watch kids' reactions. It's a cute show.
