I've heard that fanny packs, purses, etc are not allowed on some rides and that you must store such items in a locker prior to entering the line. Can someone please tell me which rides are like this? Thanks!
I think it was sometime in November that they began to enforce this. They've actually removed the netted stow bags that had been on each car where you were able to put a bag.
Here are all of the rides that require you to remove fannypacks and backpacks:
Hulk, Dr. Doom, Dueling Dragons, Mummy, and MIB. Most others have a place for you to place your belongings, though it is not recommended to take them on the wet rides.
All of them, why? Fanny packs are outdated and unstylish. Why would anyone want to wear any of thoes? Come on? Fanny packs? That is so 90's! It is time to join the future, time to get up to speed, it is time to wear.........
ummmmmmm........
gesshhhh.........
Well, I guess nothing can replace a fanny pack! LOL
But please do something for your self, and especially for your kids! DO NOT wear a huge one. Try to keep it small.
Thanks for the definitive list! Every minute is precious----wouldn't want to wait in line for a while, and then be asked to leave to put bags in a locker.
Rode the Mummy several times with small fanny pack with no problems. It was in plain view but turned to the side. I also wore it on MIB & Jurrasic Park.
I did remove it and put it in a locker for Hulk, Dragons & Dr. Doom.

They stop you before you enter the line to tell you to use the free lockers(for a certain amount of time after that time you will be charged) to stow any belongings. I strongly recommended also placing hats and sunglasses in the lockers too. I lost my favorite sunglasses in The Mummy. My DD12 said she felt them hit her foot but didn't know what it was. I had hung them on my shirt.
A tip on how to use the lockers. When you place your thumb on the pad. Do not press to hard otherwise you will be there awhile trying to get it to read exactly twice. If you just press lightly it will be fine. If you forget the locker number don't fret just go to the one closest to your locker and follow the directions. Make sure you don't put items beyond the line it will jam the locker. LOL this happened to us and when we called a CM over he asked for us to tell him what was in the locker. At least you know they won't just open for anyone. Though if you think about it. A backpack, camera, and refillable cup is probably in every locker. LOL

if the line is very long and you extend the one hour time, go to the employee working the lockers or if one is not in sight, talk to the worker by the entrance.
they will open your locker and you will not be charged. you will have to describe what is in the locker before the employee will open it. what you say has to match what is in there.
i saw this happento some people last october.
in fact, it also did happen to me. i went on mummy two times in a row and then wandered away. when i came back, well after the time limits, the employee opened the locker for me. i told them i got carried away having fun and forgot track of the time. no issues, no money involved.
