Our first Disney trip in February 2015 was great. We spent a day at MK and 1/2 day at HS (I got sick). I felt like we did everything but now that I'm planning our next trip for this October, I realized we missed a lot. My questions:
MK seems very ride heavy in Fantasyland & Tomorrowland but what do Frontierland & Adventureland have that I am missing? Obviously the mountains, Pirates, & jungle cruise but what else? Is Tom Sawyer Island worth a visit? And does Liberty Square have anything other than the Haunted Mansion?

HS- we only did Jedi Training, Star Tours, the Great Movie Ride and Tower of Terror (then I started throwing up & had to leave lol). This time around we will definitely do everything Star Wars, Rockin Roller Coster, & Toy Story but what else should we see? We will probably do The Frozen sing along and try to meet Olaf as my youngest is obsessed. Also thinking about seeing Fantasmic. Anything else we should do?

I have 2 boys - 7 and 2 so princess stuff is out and we are not big on character meets anyway- Star Wars being the exception.

Adventureland - Aladdins carpets (dumbo redo), Swiss Family Tree House (if you have time to kill), Tikki room
Frontierland - Country bear jamboree

Tom Sawyer island - meh....If you have extra time.

My family arrives at RD, and stays until the good night kiss. So we try to hit everything possible. Even doing this, we normally do not have time for Tom Sawyer or Swiss Family. I drag my family to Country bear and Tikki room. Not an option, lol.

HS - Disney Jr. show and muppets.

My son loved Tom Sawyer Island both at 7 and at 2. I would pencil it in. I can't think of anything else in Liberty Square other than HM ride wise. Star Wars fireworks at HS, assuming they are still playing then, are awesome.

There's a lot to do in the other parks too.
Tom sawyer island is good for kids who need a break from the lines and the structure. It's kind of like a big playground.
As to Tiki Room and Country Bears, there are times when we need to either sit down or be in in the AC without a long line and they do serve that purpose. Kids may like the Aladdin carpet ride.

Oh and avoid the Tower of Terror if it got you sick last time!

MK - You might add Buzz Lightyear and Monsters Inc., Laugh Floor - I'd only do Tom Sawyer's Island if you have time to kill

HS - Don't forget about Muppet Vision 3D

Tom Sawyer Island was the #2 thing out of everything at WDW my boys wanted to go back to. They could have spent ALL DAY there. Bring a cold drink and find a place to sit (or chase the 2-year old).
They also loved the Sorcerers of the MK card game and I meant to try out the Pirate scavenger hunt in MK but we never made it.

HS has so many shows - the Indy stunt show & Muppets are fun.

And don't forget to ride the Liberty Belle...the BIG paddlewheel boat. It's great for a break. We love all the "little" things in MK.

What about Hall of Presidents? And the shooting gallery. It costs extra, but it's fun!
