Which rides and shows do you refuse to do and why?

Mission Space. I don't like being stuck in a small space, and the reviews about people feeling claustrophobic on this ride scare me.

I don't think there is any ride that I would NEVER do. I am a dare devil, so I will do them all!!! My DH, on the other hand, will absolutely not ride the Tea Cups or Mission Space. He can't stand things spinning. So, I just ride them by myself! :cool1: :cool1:

Although in M:S, I did start to get a bit claustrophobic, but once the ride started, I was fine. :teeth:

TOT, RNRC, and Splash Mountain. I am a big chicken! I have a fear of falling. One day I would like to have the courage to ride maybe TOT or Splash but not anytime soon!

Definately Mission Space. We went on it in September and we almost had to get medical help for my hubby...

Honey I Shrunk The Audience! I am terrified of that snake.

Tea Cups, can't take that spinning/ dizzy feeling. Funnily enough, was ok on Mission Space.

The Norway film, I don't like being made to do anything, so being stuck behind those doors would be scary for me ( all those rides I'm missing)

I did it once, but I will not ride Mission Space again. Any ride that I have to concentrate so I don't lose focus and have potential ill side effects is not for me. I want to enjoy the ride and the thrill if there is one. To spend my time having to concentrate on viewing the display correctly and not look away, etc.etc.etc is not fun to me.

:crazy2:

It's Tough to Be a Bug because I'm terrified of bugs and yeah, I know they aren't real, but still. Though I didn't mind the movie, go figure.

Mine would be Hall of Presidents...is it even still open? Went to it once when I was a kid. The whole family fell asleep (parents included). Mom woke up just in time as everyone was shuffling out of the theater! I would not even imagine going to it again unless we needed an air-conditioned nap.

Enchanted Tiki Room. Cannot STAND that attraction.

And the Tea Cups. Not my cup of tea.

If forced, I will do Primeval Whirl. Otherwise I avoid the neck-snapper.

All right, in two categories:

Have tried, but would never go on it again: Mission: Space and Stitch's Great Escape

Have never tried, and never intend to: Tea Cups (my husband doesn't like spinning, I'm not real fond of it either), and Primeval Whirl (for the same reason).

I'm game for everything else (although other members of my family have bigger won't do lists.)

I'm not sure what it's called, but I refuse to go on that space ship thing near Space Mountain. It's sort of a Dumbo looking ride, but it's really high up. Any ride that I gotta take an elevator just to get on before it even goes up in the air is out of the question for me.

Now having said this I'm going next weekend with my 4 year old niece who loves that ride. She keeps mentioning it and I keep using her line, "No I don't like that ride, it scares me." So I figure I'll try to bribe her, if she goes on POC with me I'll go on the scary spaceship ride with her. LOL She'll never agree to that so I should be in the clear. <eg> And if that doesn't work maybe I'll say it's broken. LOL

At MK: Tom Sawyer's Island...seems boring. The paddleboat, for the same reason. Country Bears...too corny. Tiki Birds...hate the updated version. Dumbo and Speedway...lines always too long.

At MGM: Sounds dangerous...snooze. Stunt Show...not my thing.

At AK: Primeval Whirl...all that sliding around is too painful!

At US/IOA: Hulk. Just watching it make the loops makes me dizzy!

At Typhoon Lagoon: Humunga Cowabunga. Rode it once years ago...still recovering from the wedgie trauma.

I like everything at Epcot.

My fiance refuses to ride Big Thunder Mountain in Disneyland, but might ride the one in Disney World. The reason? Someone died on the attraction and she has a fear that the spirit of the dead will be tempted to cause another accident. I'm keeping quiet about the other attractions where someone died. I ruined Big Thunder Mountain for her with my big mouth.

:confused3

I just walk past the film. They don't mind if you leave. :)
Hopefully that will get you back on the Maelstrom (I love the ride)

Well, as my wife (jcat) already mentioned, mission space is the big one. I don't have a problem with "motion" rides (Star Tours, Body Wars, etc), and I can handle the teacups as long as a certain someone (our 5 year old daughter..... or my wife) don't start "ultra-spinning". But after riding Mission Space I just felt very bad. Worse then motion sickness, on the brink of passing out type yuckiness. So yeah, no more Mission Space for me.

Other rides I refuse to do:

Magic Kingdom:
Stitch - Need I say more?

Animal Kingdom:
Kali River Rapids - I hate being soaked - I can handle splash mountain (especially since it is my daughters favorite ride), but that ride would just get me WAY too wet.

MGM:
Indiana Jones - Yeah, hasn't changed, why bother?

Epcot:
MS (Of course)
