Which Ride is Better Space Mountain or Indiana Jones?

Hmmm - the Indy queue is FAR superior. But I think I prefer Space Mountain for the ride. Still terrifying! I dislike the part in Indy when you can see the other ride vehicles in front of you all looping through on the track - it takes some of the escapism away for me... But that is just my humble opinion!

Speaking of Space Mountain, isn't the one in WDW different? Or the older version? This is the reason I've been so wary of trying out WDW, because there's no Indy, and the Space Mountain isn't the new version (though I hear the Dino ride & Yeti one helps make up for it!)

I prefer Indy. Although all of the individual details like bones, and skulls, and scarily large snakes scare the heck out of me, it is definitely a jarring ride (in a good way). Not to say I don't love Space Mountain as well, but I like things to look at, not just stars.

Indy, Space makes me nauseous partway through but I can ride Indy multiple times (in a row) and not feel sick at all. Plus, I like the theming of Indy much better than the theming of Space, and I'm a huge scifi fan.

I personally like Indiana Jones because of theme better but Space Mountain is definatley the one to go to if your looking for thrill! But Indiana Jones has to be my favorite

Both are two of the best rides you'll find at any Disney park, or any park for that matter.

Space Mountain at WDW is more like the Matterhorn. Not a bad ride. But not as good as Space Mountain at Disneyland.

IJ by a landslide for me! But SM totally rocks too. Darnit what a horrid question Indy still wins for me. It's just so fantastic.

I'm also not a space nut. My DS had been on SM but not IJ (was too little last time). He's a total space nut so he is in LOVE with SM...we shall see how he feels about IJ. I bet SM wins for him!
