trying to narrow things down, and I value the opinions and experiences from the people on this board.
family of four with 2 kids

Rainforest and T-Rex are practically the same, I like T-Rex more, but it is a lot louder.

I have been to yak and yeti once and the food was very good, plus it has terrible cell phone reception ;)

Both Yak and Yeti and WC are Head and Shoulders above the other two... I enjoy Yak and Yeti a little more than WC but both are pretty good choices :cool1:

Never been to Yak &Yeti, but have been to the other three, and I would choose Whispering Canyon over the other two. The food was pretty good and I love the wilderness lodge lobby!

I voted for Trex but I love RFC too. Trex wins in atmosphere. The food is good at both. We usually just get apps but DH had the best steak of the trip at Trex! Cooked just as he ordered and very tasty. And waffle fries at Trex!!

I have eaten at both and they're practically the same. However, the food at RFC was much better than at trex. Also, trex was extremely loud. Almost impossible to hear your family from across the table.

About a year or so ago I'd tell you Trex but the last few experiences seemed to go down hill! We ha lunch at Trex & then dinner at RFC that night just to compare the 2 & RFC won for sure!

Yak and Yeti has been a must do lunch for us the past several visits (4...I believe). The last visit wasn't as delish as I remember the other 3 visits being, so they are now off our must do list. We popped in for a lunch at T-Rex a few summers ago (when we were at OKW for 3 nights and not doing WDW parks but doing Seaworld). It was surprisingly good...we thought it was way better than RFC. We also did Whispering Canyon for lunch (and a breakfast) back in 2008. It was a nice lunch...liked the stuff the servers do, it's entertaining. The bottomless milkshakes were very yummy. We got the big all you can eat skillet meal and it was so-so comfort food. I selected T-Rex, but WCC is right behind it.

How old are your kids? Do they like asian food? I LOVED Yak & Yeti, but kids would probably like T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe better. Menu is much more kid friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic! :)
