Hi all. Which restaurant would you rather go to at Epcot - Le Cellier or Rose and Crown Pub? Please take into consideration that we will have two DS ages 5 & 6. We are trying to figure out our ADRs and will have 1 day at Epcot. As a side note, we will probably also do dinner at Kona and lunch at CP. Thanks so much everyone!

I picked Le Cellier, if you can get it. I've never eaten at Rose & Crown but we really enjoyed Le Cellier and they have great steaks and cheddar cheese soup. I'm not big on British food anyway. Now beer on the other hand...:)

I picked Le Cellier. I have eaten at both Rose and Crown and le Cellier. I didn't love Rose and Crown, our waitress wasnot rude (but not extremely attentive) the food was not bad (but it wasn't great) and the resteraunt was louder than I expected.

Everytime I have gone to le Cellier, on the other hand, our waitresses/waiters have talked to us like they knew us for years. The food has always been above average, and it is not extremely loud. Your DS's will love the moose dessert at Le Cellier!!

We first visited Le Cellier when our children were 8 & 6. Loved the Chocolate "moose" dessert! DD is now 10 and wants to go back. She definitely remembered the dessert.

R&C is very busy and crowded--more of a pub experience (which it should be :woohoo: ) Le Cellier is quieter and the steak on the kids menu is wonderful! our DS and DD enjoyed it plus the pretzel bread for years:thumbsup2 I'd also throw a third choice in: Biergarten. It's a fun experience with lots of room, attentative service, and plenty of wonderful food choices. Eat On :rotfl2:

That's great to hear. My 6 year old actually loves steak so that's what we will do. Thanks for the info! :goodvibes

Definately Le Cellier!!!!! I can hear that Mushroom Filet calling me now:rotfl:

I'm one of the odd ones who was totally underwhelmed with Le Cellier. The food was pretty much totally forgetable to me and over priced for the quality of the steak. Granted we are spoiled with good steakhouses here, but we thought Le Cellier was no better than a place like Applebee's for steaks. I liked R&C much better.

Le Cellier is one of our favorites, so it got my vote. The whole family including my children always enjoy dinner there. Maybe some people are turned off by some of the prices, but we always find the food great.

I'm not sure, but I don't think R&C has a kid menu. We ate there once when my son was small and he ended up ordering the fruit & cheese off the appetizer menu as his dinner.

I picked the Rose and Crown, because of Illuminations. I love sitting on the patio to view Illuminations. Plus, the fish and chips is great, too.

Le Cellier does have great steaks, so this was a tough call. By the way, the person who compares Le Cellier to Applebees must have a wonderful Applebees by them. The ones near us, are, well "Gross".

Illuminations gave it to Rose and Crown.

For me, Le Cellier wins hands down. Though not the majority, I am still truly shocked so many have vote for Rose & Crown.

Thank you for your bravery. I could not agree more. Love the Rose and Crown. As a matter of fact, we are having our Thanksgiving meal there!!

Le Cellier is okay. But when you compare it to McKendricks or Ruth Chris or Smith and Wollensky's. It come's up way short. It's about like a Applebee's or Road House steak. But I do like the gardens out front!!

We've eaten at both places and I voted for Rose and Crown. You'll have to sit in the dining room and not the pub area.

I would vote for Le Cellier, but only because the food and service at Rose and Crown is mostly bad and the food and service at Le Cellier is mostly good.

BUT, the view of Illuminations a lot better from Rose and Crown than from Le Cellier, but that's just my opinion.

DH is a big steak person, and he was completely underwhelmed by his steak at Le Cellier. He can get a steak that's literally half the price and twice as good at a local restaurant. Although he doesn't think the steak at the Rose and Crown is wonderful, he always likes it better than the steak he had at Le Cellier (or Chefs de France, for that matter).

Neither of us cared for the cellar atmosphere of Le Cellier. It just didn't feel fun and festive like the Rose and Crown does. Currently, the R & C is our favorite Epcot table service restaurant.

I really like them both, but Le Cellier is the best of the two, but not by much. If it were me I would try to do both

I'm just not a British chap, so I will safely stick with the steakhouse over the fish n' chips popcorn::

We won't be on the DDP so we just wanted to get maybe 3 TS restaurants and do the food court and CS the other nights. I really wanted a restaurant in Epcot and the ones that I've heard the most about were these 2. I guess Le Cell it is.
