That is not "kid food"?
My Ds(3) doesnt eat typical kid food (we dont make nuggets and fries, or frozen or premade meal kind of stuff home so he just never developed a taste for it)
I am thinking of where to plan for and looking at different site with menus but there are so many choices so I would love opinions to narrow it down. He likes Pizza but real pizza(not kind like you get in a box frozen:scared: and we are from NJ so we have good pizza). The reviews I read of pizza in DW are not so good. Are there any decent places?

I would do the places that have buffets then for him...most of the places only have the "typical" toddlers foods...pizza, mac n cheese, chicken nuggets....while I don't mind on vacation that the kids fill up on that , wish there were some more options, too. My boys did well at the buffets, they could eat 'real' food with us!!:goodvibes

I would suggest a buffet as he can eat from anywhere on the buffet he wants - doesn't have to be just the kids section

I think most TS places offer at least one "real" food option on the kid's menu

Examples:
50's Prime Time - Grilled Fish of the Day served with whole-grain pilaf, veggies, and yogurt parfait

Le Cellier - offers a kid's steak option

All of the signautre dining places have great kid's options for those don't want chicken nuggets, hot dog or hamburger.

My children have really enjoyed the buffets. But the few places I've been impressed with so far are :

Artist Point at WL they had what I call proper food for the children, fish, chicken breast and veggies / rice

Coral Reef they had a lovely fish dish there yesterday for the children

Tappen Edo - this is one of the best places for that I've found for the children. All the food cooked on the hotplate in front of you. Steak, chicken or shrimp with noodles and veg and side bowl of rice. Really good evening.

We have some buffets planned as well for this reason. My family likes buffets anyway. :)

If you're on the DDP, then you're stuck ordering from the kids menu. If you're not, you don't have to do so and can order him something from an adult menu (granted you'll pay). Perhaps a couple of days, you or DH could pick something with son's input and share. Most TS are pretty big servings anyway. Or even start with an appetizer you all like.

We are on DDP and so stuck with the kids choices. But I also figure both my kids can help all the adults with our choices if necessary. With 6 adults there will be plenty of food and options if my child just doesn't want nuggets AGAIN. (hahaha, fat chance!)

thanks, I am blessed with a great eater but in these cases it can be a problem. I wish restaurants had kid sized vs of adult foods.

I think most TS restaurants have at least one meal that is more adventurous.

At Coral Reef they had a fish of the day for the children's menu-It was Salmon when we were there.
