In their lounge?

When we stayed at POFQ in Feb, we loved the fact that they had entertainment in the lounge area. I don't recall seeing this at the other resorts we stayed at (though we may have just missed it).

So, do any of the other resorts have nighly live entertainment? A singer, a band, anything but just tv's?!

Thanks!

Grand Floridian does in their lobby. Caribbean beach used to but now they just have speakers that play the music.

My DH and I will be staying at POR from Sept 1-9th and would love to see this guy. Do you know if he is there everynight and what are the times? Or even where I could find a September schedule so I could schedule an evening or 2 with him. Sounds like fun! Can you purchase alcholic drinks??

hi bob jackson is great. he has his own website (which i cannot list i guess) and he plays at POR usually three times a week (i think wed, thurs, and sat) but sometimes that changes. he has a calender on his web site that shows where he is playing (right now june is listed). he is terrific. our trip to POR wouldn't be complete without seeing him once. he caters towards family and loves to get the audience involved. and yes they serve alcoholic beverages and light snacks.

Video of Bob in action at POR: Link He's a "must do" at WDW!!! :)

I just typed "bob jackson port orleans" in a yahoo search and found his site easily.

I'm staying at POFQ from Aug 30 - Sept 3rd for our wedding and will definitely get our group together for drinks and fun with bob if we want something to do in the evening but don't feel like going out to PI or anywhere too far from "home"! yay!

There's the Hoop De Doo Musical Review(dinner show/theatre) as well as Mickey's Backyard Barbeque (both extra $). For free, there's the Chip & Dale nightly campfire which brings the characters out for the night and all the kids get to hop up on stage with the singer. Kids loved roasting marshmellows and getting close with Chip & Dale.

You can also see the fireworks from the beach every night (happening at MK). This is how we spent our first night at FW campground!

Enjoy!
