I'm looking for a resort for my grandmother. Need either a lift for pool access or zero entry with pool wheelchair (steps won't work). I've seen pictures of SSR pool that have these features but would like to see if there is a less expensive option.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I know the Polynesian and (I am pretty sure the) Animal Kingdom Lodge both have zero entry and the pool wheelchairs. Other than those (and Saratoga) I can't think of any others that do.

none of the lower priced places have zero entry pools or lifts.
SSR has a lift and a zero entry pool.
AKL, Grand Floridian and Polynesian have zero entry pools.

I have been in the SSR pool, but have only seen the others. The whole SSR pool is fairly shallow. It is zero entry on one end and 3-3 1/2 feet deep around the rest of the perimeter. It has a deeper part in the middle of the pool, but if we took our DD into it, she would have to stay in the beach wheelchair because I don't think the deepest part is deep enough to go in with her (I need it to be about 5 feet deep to go in with her). We're going to stay at SSR in October and will try it out.
