Which resorts have 3 sleeping surfaces?

Or space for a rollaway bed? I'd prefer a value or moderate resort. My kids don't sleep well in the same bed and I don't trust my husband in the bed with either child (he's a heavy sleeper and I worry about him rolling over on them). Our best layout is to give my oldest (11) her own sleeping space, I share with my youngest (7), and husband gets his own bed (must be a real bed, he's very tall).

I was planning on getting a room at Caribbean Beach with the 5th sleeper, but I looked again at my dates and those rooms were sold out.

At the Mod level only CBR and POR, specifically noted rooms (not all of them) have room for 5, which means they have a 3rd sleeping surface
There are some suites at CSR with more than 3 beds too
Only Family suites at the Value level
There are more at the Deluxe or Villas if you are interested

A cabin at Fort Wilderness will have multiple sleeping surfaces. A queen bed and a set of bunk beds in the bedroom, and a pull out sofa in the living room. Since your husband is tall, he probably wouldn't be comfortable on the bunk beds, so he could have the queen, you and one daughter in the bunk beds, and your other daughter on the pull out sofa?

The cabins are a bit more expensive than most moderates, but you get a kitchen and a nice deck with a grill; you could save some money by having breakfast right in your cabin.

Im in the same boat as you. We are going in August and spent a lot of time searching for options with 3 sleeping surfaces. CBR has the 5th sleeper rooms but the pull down bed is really small. Its a child size I believe. CSR has junior suites that have a separate bedroom, some of the bedrooms have 2 queens and then sleeper sofa in the living room. Then theres the 1 bedrooms at the deluxes but the cost is a lot more. We ended up with a suite at AoA. Its more $ than we would have spent in a room at a moderate but we couldnt find anything with enough space and 3 sleeping surfaces. We have 3 kids who cant share beds. The suite at AoA has a bedroom, sleeper sofa, and a murphy bed that pulls down from the table. Its perfect for us but the cost was more than we had planned on. It was tough to find something with enough space for 5 people.

Just to be clear, not just the 1 bedrooms at the Deluxes have a 3rd sleeping surface. Many of the regular rooms have a daybed too. They cost well less than a 1 bedroom. Some will run about the same as the suite at AoA but will have different space configuration.

Oh ok. For us we really need a separate bedroom so thats probably why I missed that option.

Alternatively, would u be open to bringing an air mattress and putting one child on the floor? We have done this in a value, fitting the air mattress in between the two beds.

But if you want 3 real beds, your choices would be what was outlined above. I think Coronado Springs also has some interesting room types the other resorts don't.

Thanks so much for the replies. I priced out Riverside with 5th sleeper, 2 rooms at a value, and the cabins. Riverside is the most economical so I think we might go with that. Any of the suites and villas are just getting too high in price.

Any room with 2 beds and a floor for an air mattress. That’s our three. We use.
We love POR though. POFQ even more.

Just make sure you are specific when you book at POR. If must be for a room with an option for a 5th sleeper. There are rooms there without the fold down bed. If you aren't specific when booking you won't be placed in one of those. It didn't used to be that way but it is now

Every resort has rooms with 3 sleeping surfaces except

POFQ
Pop
All Star Sports
All Star Movies

We stayed at POR during our last trip and LOVED it! It is beautiful. Its larger than POFQ and requires more walking depending on which building you're in, but I liked the pool better and it has a great slide for the kids. It also has quiet pools. The food court was nice and I liked that there was a TS dining option. Us adults would go to the lounge for a drink or two at night to unwind. The boat to Disney Springs is awesome, it was so much fun to take a ride over to have dinner and explore. I really wanted to stay there this year but we needed a suite with our needy 2 year old :). Hope you enjoy your stay!

Just so you are aware, you mentioned a rollaway bed in the OP, and Disney doesn't have rolllaway beds or cots anymore. If you need something like that, you'll have to bring an air mattress with you.

Be careful with booking two rooms. There is no guarantee that they will connect. You might wind up with you and one child in the first room, husband and other child in the second.

We have 2 kids, one Turns in the bed so the little one always ends up with us. This last time I got a air mattress at walmart it was 13.00 and the pump was 9.00 ( I brought that part home) they were so nice about it the maid even made it.

I wasn't aware Pop or Movies had added them

I was interrupted before I finished that post and didn't realize I hit the post reply button. You are correct Pop and Movies also do not have any rooms with 3 sleeping surfaces. I edited my original post, thank you!
