Help with family trip xmas week, which hotel?

I need help with trying to decide which hotel to stay at. My parents are treating us to another trip to WDW (this is the third ) Christmas vacation week. There are fifteen of us all together. We will need 4 rooms, one that can accomodate my sister and her 4 grown kids. My dad's only request is a very comfortable bed and AC. Which resort would you stay at?

1. Go to mousesavers and look up the rack rates for the on-site resorts.
2. Go to allearsnet and look at the online pictures of the resorts in your price range.
3. Of the ones that are in your price range and appeal to you visually, do more research with your priorities in mind. For example, the Poly doesn't have a hot tub, so if that's essential, cross that from your list.

I hear that the best beds are the 'heavenly beds' at the Swan and Dolphin!! I'm not a big fan of those 2, so I'd recommend the Poly for Deluxe, PO/RS Mansions for moderate and POP for value!!

I would also suggest possible going for a couple Villas through DVC. A grand villa is still not large enough for 15 people, but maybe a couple 2 bedrooms. Maybe renting points from someone would be a good avenue for you.

thank you for your suggestions. We have stayed at the Poly on one of our trips with the family and my Dad really likes it there. I don't mind either. I never thought about renting DVC points, thanks for the idea. I was leaning towards either the Poly or BWI because those two seem to have the biggest rooms. As far as renting villas, great idea but we all get our own rooms. Too close for comfort. BIL would drive us all Plus my Dad knows we all like our privacy.

Now should I get in touch with the grand gatherings, if they even offer that anymore. I just did not know if there was something more that they could help me out with as opposed to planning this all myself. TIA
