Which Resort

Going to WDW in Sept. 2005. DD first trip and 4th Birthday. which moderate resort would you recommend? CBR, CS, POFQ, or POR

hmmmmm. thats a toughie. honestly with a 4yr old, i'd either upgrade to the WL or AKL, with bunk beds and a queen, or I would book at the all-star movies and go for the fun themeing, especially if hes got a favorite movie thats in the theme, like toy story.

Since you asked which moderate, I say POR. That is the only one we have stayed at, but it is fun, with Ol' Man Island Pool, and the beautiful landscaping. If you stay in the Alligator Bayou area, the kids liked the way the rooms are rustic, with "whittled" wood bed posts!! This resort is voted #1 moderate, according to Deb Wills' allearsnet.com!!

I think I'd do either POFQ or CBR. But it's really just a matter of personal taste, I don't think any of them are much different from each other.

If you like the "tropics", definately chose the Caribbean Beach. That'd be my pick!

I have been struggling with this dilemma too - although I bit the bullet and booked Coronado Springs today!! I am so excited, hopefully one day we will be lucky enough to try them all.

I love love love CBR. Very fun, and I think the theming is more fun than POR. CSR hasn't interested me too much.

That said, I gotta agree with Stacy. For theming, my first choice with a 4 year old would be AKL, bunk bed, savannah view (we had giraffes sleeping under our window at night). If $ is an issue, I'd actually opt for All-Stars Movie over a moderate. The themes are just more kid friendly. If theming isn't an issue, go for CR, the convenience is just unbelievable.

My dd has been way too many times from 3 - 7. Her favorites are AKL and ASMo and ASMu. (and HIFS.)

I recommend the Caribbean Beach Resort for several reasons. I like the theming, having a pool in each island in addition to the main pool, the food court, boating/biking activities, arcade and beaches to relax on at the hammocks, paths to take relaxing strolls at night. The rooms are bright and roomy and the grounds are beautiful to walk around and relax.

Another vote for POR...it is by far our favorite moderate..I even like it better than a couple of the deluxes! It's great enjoy!
