Which Resort?

My family is trying to decide which resort for our upcoming vacation next year. We have narrowed it down to WL or OKW. With OKW we could stay a few days more...but is it worth it? My kids are 18 and 14. Any suggestions?

OKW for sure! We LOVE OKW! If you have a 2 bedroom, you will be WOWED!

We have been leaning toward OKW due to the extra days but my kids weren't all that thrilled with what they thought would be a boring place.

We just stayed at OKW and loved it. We've stayed at WL but not in the villas. I would say save the points and stay at OKW for the extra day(s). Community Hall has a pool table, darts, and of course you can always get a basketball, volleyball or pingpong from Hank's. And it's close to Downtown Disney where there is the Virgin Megastore, AMC Theater, and plenty of other things that teens might be more interested in than the bippity-boppity-boutique (LOL). It's also close to Typhoon Lagoon if they were interested in doing a water park...

Of course we loved staying at Wilderness Lodge, although I don't know what all there is to do there.

With this thinking, everyone would want to stay at OKW for every single trip. Sometimes, it is just worth the extra points to use another resort. We love VWL, so that's probably a biased comment. I just am amused when someone asks whether they should stay at Resort X or Resort Y and the answer usually comes back to stay more nights no matter which resort it is (could have just as easily been SSR or BWV Standard View).

We also think OKW is a great resort.

It really depends on your kids. We have two teenagers and they prefer VWL because of the biking, boating and they feel the resort is a little livelier than OKW. But they certainly enjoyed their OKW stay last year too.

For this age group, cruising Epcot alone and calling to check in is nice, so what about BWV (near ESPN),

or SSR, so close to downtown Disney and Disney Quest, Music store...

We stayed at BWV on our last trip. I loved it, by the way. It is so nice to be within walking distance of MGM and EPCOT. However, we always try to stay somewhere we haven't stayed. Our home resort is SSR so I don't know how hard it will be to get a 2BR at OKW at the end of May early June.
