Which resort would you NOT stay at again...

Pop. To be fair we'd only ever stayed at Deluxe resorts but we thought we'd have fun staying at different resorts on arrival days or when we get to Florida earlier than expected. After that one night at Pop that plan changed and we'd rather stay offsite.

We've stayed at CBR, WL, AKL, BC, Poly & GF and BC is the only one we have no desire to stay at again. Nothing bad about it, we just weren't overly impressed with the resort overall and we actually prefer other resort pools to SAB.

Any of the values. For the money I'd rent a house off site. I'm just not into the decor and don't find them all that convenient. I didn't know any better when I first started going to Disney as an adult. I learned once I started lugging around two kids.

POP- just not for us we aren’t fans of values. Too noisy and chaotic. And as for the dog friendly resorts- the dog rooms are isolated to only small portions of each resort. Dogs are not allowed in every single room.

I've stayed at AKL, WL, POFQ, SSR, and ASMus. I'd never stay at ASMus again, or any of the All Stars, since I think they're probably all similar. Paper-thin walls and exterior corridors made for five sleepless nights. The worst stay I've ever had at WDW.

I've also stayed at the Swan, which perhaps doesn't figure in to this survey. But I'd never stay there again. It was like being in a convention hotel in Anywheresville, USA. For me, the location didn't make up for that.

Coronado springs
I can not like this enough I stayed there for free ( got a scolershop (sp?) for a conference) and I would I did not go back to this conference because it was help at this hotel. I might do it again if the conference pay me to go again

Ahhhhhh! This makes me nervous. Going in February for 2 park days (MK, AK) before our first ever cruise. Choice was between Poly and AKL. Chose Poly for location, transportation, and because we saw it on our first (and only) trip back in 2009 (when we stayed at Port Orleans) and swore if we ever came back we would try to stay there.

AKL just felt too far away. Since we aren't doing Epcot, Poly seemed to fit....

I just love the idea of seeing the castle from my window - kindof a dream of mine!! :)

The castle view is great!

I wouldn't worry about the reviews too much, everyone has a different experience. There are plenty that love it!

For example, some really dislike CBR, but we really enjoyed it when we stayed there (pre construction).

I hope you have a great time when you go!

you do know that any resort could have a service dog in any room

Not totally the same, because the resorts that allow pet dogs have a lot more dogs than the resorts that allow only service dogs.

Agreed. This isn't the first silly post of its kind, as I addressed one early in thread myself. A friend of mine recently offered:

"It seems many in American society want to grant the stupids with impunity to be stupid, as if being stupid is a form of artistic expression."

I would never say never cause I did say I'd never stay at Pop again and did. I have stayed at all the resorts except WL, SSS, POFQ,two of the All Stars (I've stayed at Sports) and AoA. I only stay at the value resorts for a night or two during a split stay and would never stay at one of them for an entire trip. I have no desire to stay at POFQ because I just don't like the look of it and oddly enough because it's so small but if it were the cheapest at the time I was booking and I was doing a one or two night split stay, I'd stay there. I can't see us staying at SSS but again, I probably would for a night or two. WL just hasn't been available at a time we were going for a good price. I'm not a fan of the MK deluxe resorts because MK is usually just a half day park for us and maybe a hour on another day and I hate the monorail. I can't see us staying at CR again unless it was so cheap I couldn't turn it away.

According to a poster on the FW thread, ALL cabin loops are now "pet friendly" and, therefore, not necessarily "human-friendly" to all humans (however adorable the :dogdance:)!
I'm very frustrated because I love FW and, if true, this is just so thoughtless of Disney.

Actual service dogs will not relieve them selves without the owner's permission.
Plus there will be a lot more dogs in the "dog friendly" resorts.
Untrained dogs at a resort = higher change of stepping in dog waste in public areas

Exactly. The occasional service dog is not the same as 'all dogs welcome'.

Back to this thread: I can't say I wouldn't return to the values, because I haven't stayed at one - but they don't appeal mainly because of the combination of very large sites with a lack of green landscaping! I enjoyed POR despite how spread out it is, because I love the landscaping and I loved CR despite its more concrete charm (!) because of it's central setting on the lake and various unique details.

There are many resorts I have no desire to go back to, but I'm a never say never kind of person.
I'd prefer not to stay at the All Stars again though.

I would not go to Caribbean Beach Resort again. As a moderate resort, I found it no better than the value resorts which are less expensive. It was too spread out and required a tremendous amount of walking to get anywhere in the resort. The busses were a huge issue with all of the stops. Never again.

I'm gonna second this. It is too spread out.

Pop Century. Didn’t care for the atmosphere. People set up camp outside their rooms with their chairs. Left their pizza boxes, beer cans and cigarette butts all over.

This was our experience too. The people that were staying there when we were had zero class. They left beer cans and trash in the landscaping(who does that?). And we heard arguments and people were out at all hours of the night, even with very small children that needed to be in bed. I have never seen so many Disney security agents going to rooms as I have during that one stay at Pop, and I have been going for over 20 years and have stayed at a majority of the resorts. Sad really.

Sees like CB is the most resort voted "worst". Isn't this resort going to be on the skyliner route? Correct me if I'm wrong?
If that is true, then it might become popular again!
We don't have a resort that we would not go back to ourselves, as we have only stayed at POR POFQ and CS with no problems.
However, my daughter would never stay at the Poly again due to dirty rooms, trays left in the room and hallways for days with no one bothering to pick them up (not just hers, but the entire hallway), musty smelling, tired room, and monorails that only worked sporadically. She was not enchanted at all. Neither was I when we went to visit her there. The whole family wanted to be at POR where we were staying and hated the Poly. Too bad and another dream resort down the drain.

POR. We were not impressed by the bus service at all. We loved CBR (especially the pool), but to be fair coughed up the $ for preferred & had an awesome stay.

I think the issue with that resort is the size of it. If you are staying at one of the farthest rooms, it is quit a hike to the main building. Of course you can take the internal shuttle but no one likes waiting on the buses LOL. Also the bus situation, since there are so many stops that are spread out that far, it feels like it takes forever just to get out of the resort. Now if they "split" the resort in 2 and make a couple of different loops for the bus and add a food area on the far end, then I think it would improve it.

The All-Stars. I've tried twice, thinking that maybe the first was a fluke, but no.
