Which resort would you NOT stay at again...

Coronado Springs for me. Awful doesn't even begin to describe my experience there, and I just hated it from the moment I arrived. Hated the architecture, hated the size (too big), hated the food court, hated the gift shop, hated the room, hated the buses. UGH. We had just come from Cabana Bay (which was brand new at the time) and we wished we had been back there every night we were at CBR. It actually almost ruined the Disney part of our trip, we hated it so much.

I wouldn't return to the Caribbean Beach Resort.

Port Orleans. I felt the experience staying there was on par with what I had at All-Star Music but at a higher price. So depending on the trip I'll either go Deluxe or Value but no more moderates for me.

I would not go back to Port Orleans Riverside. Tried it twice. Too big, too much walking, too many bus stops (full buses pass you by so lots of waiting), room cleanliness issues, etc.

Grand Floridian. We stayed there last summer as the second part of a split stay with YC. It was always both my daughter's dreams to stay there and they were disappointed. The resort is beautiful, but the room was just blah. Especially after spending several nights in the new YC rooms.

I HATE having to go out to the boardwalk for all the food options and that clown is just terrifying (have you even seen it at night? He'll eat your soul!). I also found the staff there to be less-than. They ranged from unenthusiastic, to indifferent, to outright rude.

I agree with all of this. Although, the one time we stayed there, we got the "magical" CL upgrade. Even then, I was quite underwhelmed by the CL at the BWI (this was in 2011). I hated the weird set up with the doorway and office you had to pass through to access the CL. The layout of the hallways is also super confusing. I found the pool underwhelming as well, and very overcrowded.

I wouldn't stay at the Boardwalk again. It's ridiculous you have to go outside and to a different location to refill a mug or for food and the buses to MK were terrible. I spend most of my time at MK, so sharing a bus with four other resorts and then having a long bus ride was not enjoyable.

When I stayed at Carribean Beach I said I'd never go back. The room was run down and smelled bad. The food court layout was not efficient.

But I'm optimistic the renovations there will improve the rooms and food options, so I may try it again in the future.

Just as an FYI, dogs are allowed at all resorts as service dogs can stay anywhere, and I believe they can be assigned to any room in the resort. It would probably be a good idea to note your allergy on your reservation if you don’t already, and also request a deep cleaning before you arrive.

This doesn't account for the increased presence of the dogs in the resorts' common areas, which may represent quite a significant difference for the very sensitive. It doesn't make a lot of sense to compare the impact of the relatively few service dogs with the impact of the current dog experiment. We weren't enamored by convention-center-like Yacht Club resort during our recent stay there, and much prefer the MK resorts. We visit often and like to change it up, so this in itself may not have stopped us from staying YC in the future. The dog thing however, is a deal-breaker. I suspect that it is for a lot people, allergy or not, given the accounts on this board regarding the discrepancy of currently available discounts between YC and BC.

The monorail hotels, esp GF. Over priced. And since they're the oldest, I found that their pools are too small, lack luster compared to the newer resorts. If I'm mostly doing non-park days, I prefer resorts in the BW area (more to do). If I'm doing parks, then why spend so much $$ on the rooms.

I wasn’t comparing anything. I was just saying that there’s a chance that a dog has been in your room, no matter where you stay. Yes, the chances are higher at the resorts which allow pet dogs, but the chance still exists everywhere else. For people with severe allergies, that’s an important thing to be aware of.

ETA: I don’t suspect it’s a deal breaker for a huge percentage of the population. In fact, my guess is that a lot of people don’t even know about the pet policy. The YC discounts are close to the BWI discounts, and BWI doesn’t allow pet dogs.

We wasn't crazy for Animal kingdom.. Probably wont stay there again.. Nothing wrong with the place just don't like the décor or the food, just not for us..

Every single Disney resort is overpriced in relation to the intrinsic value of their respective amenities and accommodations. The reason the monorail hotels are more expensive is due in large part to the higher demand for them.

We have stayed at all of the non-DVC resorts except for Boardwalk and Ft. Wilderness. Of the ones we stayed at, I don't see us ever staying at CBR again. We just didn't like too many things about it.

I can say with utmost certainty that we will never stay at Ft. Wilderness (no interest). Not sure if we will stay at BWI (again, lack of interest) and probably not SSR or OKW.
