Which resort would be the best?

I will be planning a trip for May of 2015 with my family of 3 and my brother-in-laws family of 5. We will have 310 points and want to stay about 5 nights. I'll forsee us needing to borrow more points but my question is: Which resort and accommodations would you recommend for two families?

Nolefan, I really like AKL because the theme is like no other. However, I feel the bus ride can be long. This will be my brother-in-law's family first time at disney (perhaps the last too). So, I'm just so undecisive. I've been thinking about the Treehouse Villas but I just don't know to much about them. Is it far to walk to the buses?

Do you want to share the same villa? AKV and BLT 2 bedroom villas have 3 full bathrooms and sleep 9 people plus an infant in a pac n play. They have 1 king bed, 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair in the living room. OKW has the largest over all space with the same sleeping arrangements but only has 2 bathrooms.

The TreeHouse Villas have 1 queen bed each in 2 bedrooms, twin sized bunkbeds in the 3rd bedroom and a sleeper sofa and chair in the living room with 2 bathrooms.

Looking at the points chart it looks like you may not have to borrow points for this trip if you only plan to stay 5 nights.

Any of these resorts would be a great choice for a large group. We are going to OKW with 9 at the end of this month. Good luck with your choice!

310 points would be enough for an OKW Grand Villa in May for 5 nights. That would WOW the in-laws!

If this is a possibility then I'd go for it. We have stayed in the OKW GV and the space is great with kids. You will get three large bedrooms and a large living room with a lot of seating. It is larger than our house.
We had young kids on our trip and they loved the pool too. The buses were fine.
