Which park do you think you will visit most often?

If it's MK, then Poly or CR.
If it's Epcot, then YC.

I have stayed at CR, YC, AKL & FWC. There was (+) and (-) to all of them.

I liked YC best, because of Stormalong Bay and being so close to Epcot--the park we spent most of our time at.

If being on the monorail is important then GF.

Want to be close to EC then YC.

Quiet and very kid friendly then definetely FW.

All these resorts have easter activitivies such as egg hunts.

we are looking forward to going back. We LOVED the resort.

I highly recommend the Yacht Club! I like the Boardwalk even better but Yacht Club is close enough! ;)
The location can't be beat. You can walk to and explore 4 different resorts. There's so much to do right there on the Boardwalk. You can walk or take a boat to Epcot and MGM. The walk to Epcot is only a few minutes!
You can take the monorail to Magic Kingdom. You have to walk to the front of Epcot to do it but we've done that many times.
From what I hear, Stormalong Bay is the best pool in the world!
I love Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Polynesian. But, we keep returning to the Boardwalk and other Epcot resorts.
Have you checked out the Disney Vacation Club rent/trade board? You might be able to get a good deal for your family, although that season is quite busy.
Have a fantastic vacation!

I agree with Montessori! I'm a big Yacht Club fan....location can't be beat, pool is great, hotel is beautiful. Tons of dining choices - we often would stroll into Epcot just to eat in World Showcase. (Love that fish and chips!) And we also would walk thru Epcot to get to the monorail to go to MK.

You'll have a great time no matter where you stay, but though I've never stayed at WL, I spent some time there, and somehow I felt isolated. Same with AKL. I guess it depends on what your family really wants to see/do. I like to feel in the action. Don't get me wrong - my Yacht Club room was really peaceful. But all I had to do was walk outside to feel like I was in the middle of the fun.

I would def say the Yacht Club. Especially with children. I am 14, but when I stayed at the Yacht Club, I was 12. Your kids will absouletly LOVE the pool, and you will LOVE the hotel.. My mom says its her favorite hotel on the Disney property. Go for the Yacht Club. You wont regret it.

Like some of your post have said which park will you be at most of the time.this should help with your choice. we have stayed at the BC very nice hotel and nothing like a disney deluxe hotel.
Would you have enough time or even thought about staying at two of the hotels fun to try different ones.disney will take your luggage to the other hotel for you.
