Which resort is next to be refurbished?

Here is a question...they just refurbished WL, Poly, CR and GF. I am assuming they did all the MK resorts in a group. Does anyone know what is next?? When was the last time the Yacht, Beach or BW was done?

Disney has also recently refurbished and converted a portion of the rooms at the All Star Music and adkoing resorts. There are plans are converting the remaining unfinished portion of the Pop Century resort "Legendary Years" to an all-suite resort, which has been dormant since the 09.11.2001 Terrorist attack.

Actually all of the rooms at All Star Music have finished the refurbishment as of June 2007.
All Star Sports is undergoing refubishment at this time and is slated be finished in Feb. of 2008.
I have Not heard a refubishing date set for All StarMovies as of yet.

There are rumors ( but remember they are just rumors ) that the other of Pop may restart in 2008 or 2009. I have not eard anything offical yet.

The Swan and Dolphin resorts were refubished in 2006 I think.

No word ( that I know of )has been released when the other Epcot resorts
will be rufurbished.

I think they will be refubished in next few years. WDW has stepped up their refub in the last 3 years. It is a welcome charge from their old refub schedule
and is long overdo.

Coronado Springs is slated also for room refurbishments this year. Plus the add-on of Rix, and changes to the Maya Grill and Pepper Market. Lots going on there!

Supposedly the Pepper Market should be more user-friendly once done. I was told that room rehabs should start in the first half of next year (possibly April or May). It sounds like the restaurant work will be done sooner than that.

I think they should refurbish the Legendary Years at Pop next. Have you seen how run down that place looks?

I would expect the BW resorts to do refurbs again in the next couple of years, since I would assume they didn't add the flat screen TV and such?

Currently the Fort Wilderness Cabins are being refurbished, both inside and out, with a completion date in Dec 2007.

I thought Boardwalk was due up next for refurb, am I wrong?

I think the Boardwalk should be next based on the way they have been doing it. The Boardwalk opened over 10 years ago and the decore inside the rooms is still the same. It seem they have been remodeling the deluxe interiors every 10 years or sooner.

I haven't noticed any rhyme or reason to the way they've been renovating. The Polynesian was done first - but had been rehabbed a few years earlier, as I recall. The Sports is going on now, I am not sure if they are done with the GF, the Coronado should be worked on next year. The BW is having some rehab done outside right now.

I think Disney went a little too far with the minimalist decor at this resort.


Does anybody know if Disney will refurb Boardwalk Villas when they refurb the Boardwalk Inn. Just Curious.
