which resort for one night stay?

We need to stay onsite for just one night. You get so little time for a one night only stay, in at 3 or 4 pm and out at 11 am, basically just a place to sleep but which resort would be the best bet besides the all stars?

We're using the Dolphin because of the Starwoods points we have accumulated. It will cost of $60 for one night plus points. We figure what else are we going to use the points for.

I would choose a resort that is near the park I was planning to go to that day. That way you'll get to that park early!

For example.... if you are going to the Magic Kingdom I would probably choose a wing room at the Contemporary, or a standard view room at the WL.
If you are going to Epcot I would probably choose CBR because the bus ride is so short.
Or if you're going to AK then I'd choose a standard view at the AKL.

Sounds like you just need a place to crash - if you're going to have your own car, then I would try for the All-Star's. They're cheepest - and you can just drive yourself to the parks (free parking with Resort ID). You can use the buses (esp. for Downtown - parking/traffic is horrible there), but they are not the best - sometimes good, sometimes bad.

After that, one of the Moderates - any one will do - pick a theme. Also consider restuarant/food selections - what do you want/need in this regard? Deb's www.wdwig.com has menus for all the restuarants.

I have stayed at the Deluxe for a night, but we took the time to enjoy it also - so if you're not going to be enjoying the resort, don't pay the big bucks for it.
